    Alcohol

    I know that alcohol retards muscle growth by lowering test levels and nutrient absorption, with that said I am a college student and I enjoy my weekend binge drinking. I am wondering if there are any steps I could take the morning after, or perhaps prior to a night of drinking that would mitigate some of the negative effects of alcohol. Any advice will be appreciated, thanks

    The only and best thing you could do is to avoid drinking.

    As BJJ said thats the only way. Drinking lots and lots of water will help with the shitty feeling the next morning but you'll still get the low test and all the other stuff.

    If your in college the its safe to assume you are young and test levels should still be high and will recoup fine. Live free and have fun!!!

    ^Yeah- drink water big time. Also, keep low calorie Gatorade in your fridge, or Pedialite. Speeds up rehydration. Also, be sure to eat enough, especially when you feel like shit. next, try to drink only when you do not have to go to the gym the following day. Last but not least, look into "Chaser" pills. They are great

    how about just not going extreme? you could just have a few and not totally binge..

    I agree w/awesome1, but if you're like this cat ^^^edgarr, my cousin used to swear that tums right before bed after drinking helped him out a lot. Good luck. Hope your at least getting laid. haha..
