    Carb Cycling, article, thoughts?

    Here is a link to a carb cycling article I found that I was looking into, thoughts anyone?

    I'll be in Vegas in 14 weeks wanted to cut up for the pool.

    I can bet that's the article by Twin Peaks before I even click on it.

    Great article.

    There are several ways to carb cycle, and TP outlines a pretty standard, but effective method.

    You'll just have to experiment and see what your body responds best to.

    Thanks, I started on it about 6 weeks and was seeing results in the middle of a cycle last year when my father was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver, and my cycle and diet went down hill for a few months after that. I can't wait to get back into it.

    Yeah sorry I gotta correct myself I meant that the described diet has the same principle as "cyclic ketogenic diet" except you don't go into ketosis for the whole week ...

    Not really. I didn't read the whole thing word for word but the author does state that this is not a high fat diet such as KETO. CKD is based on 60-65% of your calories coming from fat, the reason behind this is that is your energy source (there are others). Not saying this diet does not work but I don't think I caould carb deplete for very long with out being extremely tired if I wasnt getting energy from another source. Of course this should work cause the author is cycling every 3rd day or so.

    Just re-read the whole thing . wow i'm really being unclear on this one sorry OP but still this is a really good read about another great diet approach of cycling carbs... carbs are baaaad..
