I was put on TRT after my doctor diagnosed primary testicular failure. I took 7 weekly shots. First two at 100 mg, the last five at 150 mg.
I determined that my problem is secondary, not primary hypogonadism. I have concluded that my diet, alcohol intake, and a febrile illness at the time of testing resulted in my low testosterone scores, particularly since my FSH was non-existant and my LH was in range but moderately low.
It has now been 14 days since my last injection and I have begun to feel the withdrawal. I know it might be hard to push through this period but I have to stick it out and see if I can produce what I need naturally. The alternative is committing to a lifetime of TRT (which, since I would lose my own ability to produce testosterone and sperm, seems equivalent to chemical castration). I am not ready to take that step yet.
So, in this journal, if I see it through, will be an attempt to record my experiences for anyone who may have an interest.
