My Diet - 35 eggs a week OKAY OR INSANE?

My brother and I came up with a diet & have been following it for almost a week now, whereas before we were dieting still but nothing strict [not a whole wheat pasta w/grilled chicken veggie meal, more like whole wheat wrap, grilled chicken & hot sauce]. My brother is 24 and 232 lbs. and I'm 20 and 202 lbs. I do not yet have the macros b/c I'm not really asking for a diet critique - I'm more so asking about my breakfast - SHOULD I HAVE the 5 WHOLE EGGS EVERYDAY - my mother yells at me every morning & I know there's a difference between dietary cholesterol & blood cholesterol - but here goes:

    1] Carnivore Protein Shake w/Water [wake-up]
2] 5 Whole Eggs [SunnySide Up w/Hot Sauce]
    Whole Wheat English Muffin
3] Whole Wheat Pasta w/Red Crushed Pepper
    Grilled Chicken
    Broccoli Sauteed w/Garlic
4] Whey Protein Shake w/Water [so far Wheybolic but it's too $expensive$]
    5] Grilled Chicken
    Mixed Veggies w/Garlic
6] Dinner - Grilled Chicken Meal, Grilled Fish Meal, Steak Meal [brown carbs & veggies]
    7] Wheybolic Protein Shake w/Water [b4 Gym]
8] Wheybolic Protein Shake w/Water & Natural Peanut Butter [after Gym]
    9] Carnivore Protein Shake w/Water [b4 Bed]

thanks, but you guys are talking about egg WHITES.. i used to eat 6 egg whites a day on a previous diet - I'm talking about 5 WHOLE EGGS for this new diet.. I know everyone has different blood cholesterol - but would eggs negatively affect my cholesterol (HDL i think it is) thus affecting my testosterone production? I learned of cholesterol in biological studies.. but obviously not enough .. I just don't want to be on a diet that I think is healthy/anabolic when it is the complete opposite and lowering my test. production. Thanks

I prob eat close to 70 eggwhites and 10 yolks a week. IMO, I don't think yolks are bad if someone is under 30 and healthy. Also W/ no family med history. Cholestrol is very good for testosterone production. I've cut back on the yolks but I used to eatem a lot! I'm 32...cholest., is in chickn, beef all that meat. So to me, y not just takem outa the easiest thing, to just cut it down a bit along w a little fat. I'm shure I get enuf in all the meat I eat.

If you are concerned about the number of eggs you are eating because of cholesterol, simply get your cholesterol level checked by a doctor. Unless there is a family history of high cholesterol, or you personally have or at risk for high cholesterol, then it shouldn't be a problem.

5 shakes is far too many.

You can have a shake in the AM and PWO. Thats it. Thats all I have clients on.

    The rest is whole meals.

^^Almost agree, AM shakes need good slow carbs and fiber. Along w efa, bcaa, vites, joint fuel. Or whatever gets u goin.. Pwo w good whole carbs and a piece of fruit,... if not eating enuf or really tryn to recover... then add PM if neccesary casin, or anouther slow digested pro.

The only reason anyone tells you to lower your egg consumption is because of saturated fat "supposedly" causing coronary heart disease by clogging your arteries. But, saturated fat has no effect on coronary heart disease. Read THIS for a basic primer. Good Calories, Bad Calories is a good book on the topic. Definitely a must read. There are many scientific studies that have been published in peer-reviewed journals that can be found with google. With this information, you can tell people that you're not ruining your health. The only reason you should watch your saturated fat consumption is for caloric reasons only.

I eat 8 full eggs every morning. Works out at 56 full eggs per week.

I'm currently on cycle but I'm gonna get my blood checked in about two months time to see if I'm a walking time bomb.

Only a bad idea if your body can't hack it.

And there's only one way to find out if your body can't hack it.... eat eggs for a few months and then go get your blood tested.

well - the shakes are almost my supplements for now - the carnivore - beef protein w/beef creatine .. the wheybolic - contains many amino groups and essentials .. and the nitro core contains 10 different proteins.. theyre jus expensive as hell..
but i like having the shake before bed so i have protein flowing in my body during "standby"/"slowdown" mode.. (sleeping- anti-catabolic? or is that excess sleep - which happens sometimes during the weekend for me)

but i feel that the shakes are helping me achieve 9 meals a day .. which is a lot to say .. at least for me.. i feel it would be to hard for me to cook 7 meals based upon food only - and it would be hard for me to come up wit recipes to help the blandness of plain foods.. what should i substitute some of those shakes for.. even though im pretty satisfied so far with my diet.. 7 weeks along now and i feel every week my six pac is more visible while my physique continues to improve - especially now that im confusin my body with a completly new workout
