    keeping brown rice moist

Brown rice is prob one of the best carb choices when putting together a diet, but like most people I make all my meals in advance, put them in a gladd container then reheat them at work. Unfortunately when I make rice and put it in a glad container it loses all its moisture and gets ROCK HARD!! Lately for my PPWO meal I use Whole grain pasta, chicken breasts and alil homemade marinara(no sugar) sauce. Is this ok?? and do any of you guys have tips on how to keep brown rice edible in glad containers?? Also any good reciped for my PPWO meal , its usually 60-70g carbs and 40g protein. My PWO is the same but in shake form

if you dont mind the extra cals, olive oil is great for keep you B/rice moist

Heres another trick, as soon as you finish cooking it, put in the container whilst its still really hot, then put the lid on asap, the steam off of the rice creates a moistness in the container.

    hope this helps

How are u cooking the rice? Boiling it or in a rice cooker? I do mine in the rice cooker and do 1 cup of rice per 2 cups of water. This usually keeps it nice and mushy and before putting it in the micro to reheat it sprinkle it with some water.
