Today I went to my dr. to get the monthly script of adderall. I talked about adderall not really working anymore and loss of energy, drive, motivation. Believe it or not (I almost fell over) she offered to put me on 200mg of cyp a week.
All I could do is laugh all the way home.
Anyone heard of shrinks prescribing it for add or depression? She said she prescribes it all the time.

testosterone works very well on mood improvement. when i'm on test i feel much more positive than when not but if you are depressive test would be great but what after you stop taking it? not sure if the going off would be too great.

Never really thought of that. Awesome doctor. All I could get docs to prescribe me for years was anti-depressants for my low test symptoms. There's you cheap test that insurance will pay for.

Yeah i know! I have been wanting to get out of the anti-aging pharmacies. Was not even looking for it here. I am only doing it for trt. Not a big workout guy. She more specifically said what ever dose it took to get my total t up to 1000.

Durak, for a female doctor that's a keeper! Most of them want to give you one pump of AndroHell and send you packing if you reach 500. If she's hot, even better.

my psychiatrist just got me on 200mg of cyp EW. I told him about arimidex and he did not know what it was, but he trusts me and gave me a prescription for it anyway lol. I have the best doctor in the world he will pretty much give me whatever i want hahaha.

This however leads me to a question I cannot get answered. So money was not a factor, why did you choose arimidex over aromasin? It looks to me like aromasin is a little better.

the Cyp is free for now, but I had to get insurance to cover the AI. I chose adex because it is more commonly used than aromasin for TRT and I didnt want to risk it being denied by insurance.(BTW the pharmacist was really freaked out when I handed her a script for Adex...she called my doc and asked why he was giving me breast cancer medication lol) Plus Adex will be plenty strong enough considering my e2 levels werent crazy high (41). I wanted just a little something to help since I jumped from 100mg of cyp EW to 200mg of cyp EW.... arimidex @ .25 EOD sounds like a good option.

All I can say is I hope you have a backup plan for when you go off it. You may end up being addicted to caffeine/nicotine if you aren't already. Elevated Testosterone levels do wonders for mood, but have it seized and you're zombified. Literally.
I'm Bipolar, going off my last cycle didn't hit me as hard as I thought, but it definitely stirred up some negative thoughts that I could connect to Depression.
Then again, going back on it feels like you're living a dream, no matter how shitty your current situation is...

I think I have low test levels. I am going to the Doc when I come off and see if I have low test levels... Always feel down when I am off, and when I am on I feel like a man again. How long should I wait for the blood work after i come off my cycle?
