    Question About REST

Alright, we all know rest is an important factor with bodybuilding..but when is Rest - GOOD rest??

My sleep schedule is a little twisted...i know about 8 hrs is an ideal night of sleep but does it matter WHEN it takes place...or IF it is broken up...

If i get a 6 hr nights rest from lets say midnight- 6AM...then take a nap after i get out of work/ classes...where does that leave me? is that considered adequate rest?

What do you guys consider adequate rest? on both ends of the spectrum..when is it TOO much? and When is it not enough throw out some scenarios for me

    Much appreciated.

7.5-10 hours is optimal, everybody is different. Too much rest I feel tired the next day plus longer time without food. Much less than 7 hours and I lose focus/intensity in the gym. I'd say shoot for 8. Most studies suggest this and based on my training journal seems best.
