    New member 19y/old

I'm 19 years old, 6' 2" and 175 pounds (~9%bf), i've been lifting for about a year and a half, most seriously in the past 6-8 months. I started at 145 pounds on a home gym and have been gaining steadily, though i now work out at a local gym.

I've been lurking the forums for a month or so, just trying my best to learn all the basics and decided to make an account to get questions answered as i go along.

I have no immediate plans to try a cycle, it seems the general consensus is that older is better, and though i'm fairly certain I'm done growing I plan on waiting 2-3 years to lessen the chances of permanently screwing anything up. I hope to be at least 21 and 195 before trying anything.

Oh, and as part of the forum lurking I've read up on most of the forum stickies so i know the basics on what not to ask/post

Welcome and good luck. Good to see you've got some discipline to yourself.

I've heard of a few people that have, and i'm not overly concerned about not growing any further, at 6'2" i wouldn't care even if i did have the potential to, i've just heard it's really hard on your htpa?

how old are you now? In retrospect do you think you where too young, or would you do it again?
