    Cutting

Just wondering. I've noted that many people are saying that test should be in almost every cycle. Is this the same for cutting cycles? I only ask beacuse every time I see someone mentioning a test cycle their talking about putting on 20+lbs which isn't the norm in a cutting cycle or so I though.

There is such a thing as cycles without test, cutting and bulking. Not many should be though. Some test can be great for cutting. It can help keep the muscle on and drive going while on a depleting diet. Water retention can also be some of the "gains" people mention too, which of course most of us don't want to look puffy while trying to look cut. This can be kept to a minimum through proper choices and management of diet and drvgs. Seems most times when you see folks starting out doing that test only cycle they're new, and looking for bulk.

You only need the test if you want your dick to continue working and care or not if your hormones go all out of whack then you get depressed, stop working out and gain 20 lbs of fat.

It helps maintain muscle while in a calorie deficit. Same rule applies to any cycle whether cutting or bulkiing; if you were to run one compound it should be test.
