    Is Anavar right for me?

    Suggestions Please!

    Sorry for the long post from a newbie, but I desperately need help. I am 33 years old, 6’ 209lbs, 17.6% Body Fat and 37lbs of Fat. I’m not sure if the creatine I take is affecting my fat test results, since I was closer to 16.4% (Still high) about a month ago before starting the creatine. I have been working out since I was 15. In high school, I played football and also did shot put and discus. I weighed my most just after graduating high school at 265lbs (Lots of muscle, with a decent amount of fat around the waist). After that, I was sick of weighing so much and decided to RUN, RUN, and RUN! This was a bad idea, since that’s all I did; I completely stopped lifting weights and ended up at 170lbs of mostly muscle. However, I felt I was way too skinny. So, I decided to gain some more weight by eating more (clean foods) and starting to lift weights again. Since then, I have never been able to get back into shape at the weight I wanted to be at which is anywhere from 210lbs to 225lbs. I have been fluctuating up and down in weight about 10lbs. I am not very mobile throughout the day, so I don’t waste much energy. I am sitting all day at work, and workout at my lunch hour at the gym at work. I need lots of help, since I’ve tried most supplements and different types of workouts. My diet is also good, as far as I can tell. See below for my current meals and calorie amounts. I am starting this week on doing a Cyclical Ketogenic Diet, which is very low in carbs during the week, and loads up on carbs for one or two days on the weekends. The reason I’m doing this now, is because I want to jump start some fat loss, and because I seem to be very carb sensitive.

    What I would like to know is, what can I do different that I haven’t already done? I believe that I am well informed when it comes to exercise and nutrition but just might not be applying them the right way. I currently am taking creatine, Glutamine, BCAAs, and Protein Shakes. I am considering doing Anavar (Once I find a source) because it is the least harming of most steroids out there. From research that I have done, this seems to be the best and safest steroid out there for my goals. I am looking to gain some muscle, get a more solid look, and lose the remaining fat I have. Any help is much appreciated.

    Will Anavar give me the results I am looking for based on the info I have provided?
    How will it affect my energy levels?
    How does Anavar compare to Clenbuterol? Will my heart be racing on it?
    Whats the best workout while using Anavar?
    -Heavy weight, Low Reps? Moderate weight, high volume? Both?
    How long would I need to do it, before achieving the results I’m looking for based on my current weight and body fat percentage?

    1. At a BF above 15%, you won't notice dramatic effects. Remember this drug is mild, even at high dosages.
    2. Can't say because I've never done an Var only cycle. Sorry.
    3. You train the same way while "on" when you do "off". There is no magic workout while on Steroids.
    4. Var works best between 6-8 weeks depending on dosages.

    Just remember, Var is a suppressor. Meaning it will shut you down. Therefore leading to low energy levels and libido issues.

    How long have you been running this diet?

    I tell people day in and day out, if your goal is to lose weight, rely on food, OTC supplements and proper cardiovascular training (HIIT) only. Nothing illegal.

    i reckon u need to do a fair bit of reading before even thinking about a particular compound mate. aas does not help u with weight loss. it is proper diet, cardio and consistent training routines that will make those fats go away. at 17.6% bf, u might wanna hold back on a cycle mate.

    var is a mild aas with slow gains. but the gains are solid and keepable. var does not give u the energy hit, but rather, can make u feel sluggish at times. have some redbull and u'll be ok. u cant compare var to clen as they have different functions. but var does give u good vascularity if u've low bf already.

    like what Hawaiianpride said, always maintain ur workout regardless of 'on' or 'off' cycle so that u'll not lose the gains that u made. mix the heavy weights/low reps and light weights/high reps routines to trigger muscle growth.

    var is often cycled between 6-8weeks and between 60mg to 100mg ed.

    I just started the diet this week. Before this, my carb intake was more like 200g. I put on some weight with the higher carbs, which is why I'm trying this out. When I reach my ideal weight, I plan on adding more carbs in the form of mostly Veggies. Maybe I should just work on my diet for a while, and see how that goes. Thanks for the post!

    I'm not a proponent of Ketogenic/Atkins-like diets for several very logical reasons, but that's up to you, and "yes" it can be used as decent jump start, but so can beginning a good clean diet.

    Just wondering if you would like to share why? I also think they are very strange, but I hear a lot of people get good results with keto.Either way I don't think I will ever try it.

    I'll never do it. Not a fan of the theories behind them. But that isn't to say they aren't effective. Many people that go keto, never go back lol.

    My buddy went on the injectable HCG diet and lost 25lbs. Of that it was about 20lbs of fat. Then he went on a Test E cycle and looks great. If you're going to do an Anavar only cycle you should do about 200mg/wk of Test just to keep your endogenous level of Test even. Var will suppress natural test so you need to supplement the test. I've been on 80mg/ed var for the last 6 weeks. It's good stuff. Makes my body tighter and more vascular. I get totally awesome pumps at the gym. I don't do a lot of heavy weights. I do more plyo, medium weights (70% to 80% body weight) many reps, and lots of cardio. My goal isn't BB but fitness and wellness.
