    BD Oral Syringe

These things confuse me (1 mL)...are they supposed to be 1.1 mL?...also it seems like I'll be wasting 0.1 mL every time I use them. Any advice?

probably means the oral dosimeters that resemble syringes that come with supps like 4-ad and other gimmick type prohormones. you loose a little in the tip of those every time can't be avoided

yeah I know what oral syringes are, just not sure what the question is or how you would waste anything with an oral syringe.

i use to buy those sups as a placebo more than anything. Theres always just a little bit of liquid left in the tip of them after you fully depress the plunger but untill he's more specific I'm not sure what he's getting at. maybe just saying uppin the quantity because of that little bit of left over liquid in the tip

The only "waste" I have seen in oral syringes would be if any tiny bit was stuck to the walls of the tip after you push out the liquid, still not really a waste though.

if any is stuck in the tip, you just draw the plunger all the way back and blast it forward a few times and all the liquid is expelled. if you were using some really expensive liquid that I've never heard of and micro amounts mattered, you could always then draw water into the syringe and repeat the process.

Totally wrote that in a sleepy daze lol, sorry for the confusion.

Basically there are ten 0.1 mL tick marks, but the plastic tip of the syringe also takes up liquid (right about 0.1 mL). As far as waste...well that isn't as big of an issue...but for dosing 200 mcg/mL T3 or something, it gets difficult cuz I have no idea how much I'm dosing (am I dosing 50 or 75 mcg if I pull to the 0.2 mL mark?). Thanks!

EDIT: I measured and each mark is indeed 0.1 mL, and if you cut off the tip of the syringe, it still blocks the syringe...IMO this is the way to go in case anyone has the same issue. /thread.

Fill it all the way to 1ml. Pull the syringe(whatever its called) out of the liquid and squeeze .1ml out so .9 shows. Pull the plunger back up to 1ml and it will be a perfect ml.

If you ever question it then pull back on the plunger so you have air in the start then measure.

Ex. Pull the start of the liquid to the 1 ml mark and see if the end is at the 2 with the syringe upside down

Like I said I measured and these make sense. In order not to waste anything, I found that if I cut the tip off it worked great.
