I'm fairly new to AAS so I don't feel like I'm in the best position to hand out advice but as a newbie, I'd like to say this:
I had been training hard for a long time before I considered AAS, it was only when my gains really plateaued that I seriously starting thinking about it.
Before coming onto steroid.com, the forum and various other anabolic websites I knew absolutely nothing about AAS. I took my time to read as much as I could about the subject, learn about everything from all the information available (for which there is masses!), read the forum and ask questions on the forum.
You can only learn so much from reading info as a huge amount of knowledge is gained from actual experience. Saying that, there are a lot of experienced people on this forum and learning from their experiences is invaluable.
I thought about the best thing for me to do, asked people for opinions and listened to them, then re-evaluated my plans etc. You can be sensible about AAS.
From spending a small amount of time reading responses to posts you can quickly gain an idea of common practices. Below are a few fundamentals that you see time and time again, especially where beginners are concerned.
1) If you're under 21, the only advice you'll get is wait until you're older
2) A basic cycle would include a kick start with fast acting orals whilst the longer acting injectables begin to take effect
3) Orals shouldn't be taken for more than 5 weeks
4) A complete cycle shouldn't last longer than 8-12 weeks
5) Know about liver support and PCT, plan this and have it available before you start
6) Consider conversion to estrogen, managing this and preparing for other general side effects
7) Keep your first cycle simple, manageable, and at a reasonable dose of hormone, you can always increase this in future cycles
8) When injecting, reduce the risks by keeping everything clean
I see a lot of posts and as a newbie, think to myself, aren't you reading anything anyone is saying. Plan a 38 week cycle, then argue with the people advising you that your way is better?
To other newbies I'd say: Everything you need is here, a lot of it is complicated but learn from other peoples mistakes, not your own
To the experienced members of this forum I'd say: A lot of people are listening to your advice, thanks for your continued support
