Pain unbearable from injection

Had a shot on friday. The injection went great, no pain but the next day the pain and swelling started and its got to a point where it is unbearable. I could not sleep tidy last night, any movements causes major discomfort, even hurts bad without moving. I cant even sit down because of the pain and swelling. I know i have reacted bad to every shot besides the first one the whole cycle but never like this. Do i need to go to the a+e or stick it out and see what happens.

my last 3 injections have been very bad. well not as bad as you say. i dont know what it is but the day of the inject its fine but after is like WTF! i hope its not the gear im using.

sometimes for your peace of mind it is better to filter your gear just to eliminate any possible pathogens that can cause a problem. Especially if you don't know your source too well.

Just keep some Keflex on hand incase things turn out bad. Its the best antibiotic to avoid abscesses. But thats just the worse case scenario thou so don't panic.....

Im seriously considering going to the A+E, im having problems getting back up from a sitting position. I cant walk without limping either.

1:1 ration w/ cotton or grape seed oil.
Sleep with heating pads at night on the pin area
Pre-warm oil to let the juice disperse easier
Inject in the muscle prior to training that muscle to let the oil disperse easier
Massage thoroughly 5-8 minutes to let the oil disperse easier
Wait it out, for most the pain will subside (as stated earlier)
Rotate spot injections
Inject slow
Make sure the volume of the injection is suitable for the muscle you are pinning in

Felling really sick now, like im going to throw up and feel warm. Dont know if its cause of the ibuprofen i took last night though.

Went to the hospital and seen a doctor.He said that it looks like i have had a bad reaction to the oil and to apply heat to it and pay a visit to my G.P in the morning to see if things are getting better or worse and to make sure it hasen't developed into a abcess.

Im going to have to cut my oil as im reacting bad on every shot, well besides the first ever one.Where can i get the oil from?

codeine kills any pain.

No it doesn't, codeine is mild at best. Besides a PK is just going to cover the issue up he needs to find a resolution.

GRAPE SEED OIL FOR THE WIN!! My first cycle I just gimped around like everyone else. The cycle i'm on now, I look forward to pinning up cause there is noooo pain at all. There are a few oils you can use. I believe grape seed oil is the thinest so that does help with making the injection a bit quicker.

??? if you are referring to rule #9 we are not discussing anything recreational. These are prescription pain relievers or in the case of Codine it's over the counter most places like Canada.

If I missed something I will gladly edit it.

Things got alot worse last night so i went back to the docs this morning. He said that he can't feel a abcess and it looks like a reaction but to keep a eye on it. There is no way i can train today as i haven't been able to sleep for 2 nights and the pain is just to bad. Im due a shot today in my leg, should i do it or not? Can anyone link me up to info on how to mix the oils,. Thanks

He also gave me ibuprofen to take for the swelling, are they ok to take?

So even with twice the oil it takes away all the pain?

What about mixing with other compounds? For example a prop/mast mix. Painless?

Cutting it with grape seed oil does a pretty good job of taking most the pain away. Do a little searching everyone will tell you the same. If you can find some injectable b12 that is also good to do to.

I can not do a shot without cutting with oil first. Call me a ***** or whatever but I have had some painful shots and will not shoot straight test into my leg with out cutting it.

They cut it with benzyl alcohol to keep the test sterial, this is what in most cases cause's alot of the pain.

sounds like you may have roid fever...its when there is a bad bacteria in the gear your taking ...has happened to me...not very nice feeling at all...

i was bed ridden for 3-4 days everytime i injected...couldnt get out hot and cold sweats and felt like shit

I would suggest three things that took away all pain from my Supertest injections.

1) Filter the gear, I used some grape seed just to clear the filter, only .5 mL
2) Bake the gear, got the idea from a search on painful injections. Put a small needle in the stopper and bake at 200 for 5 minutes
3) Always heat the gear by holding filled syringe under hot water before injecting.


Once I started doing #3, I had no issues.

It also depends on the area you're pinning and what you're using. What are you cycling? I use T500/EQ and my first shot hurt after a bit but my second one is swollen so bad you could set a beer on it. T400 and 500 are the worst I've used regarding pain, but it's better then having to buy twice the gear for the same effect. I pin the butt cheek and sometimes they hurt a little, sometimes alot!!!
