    Hurts to piss

    Guys,

Feels like I'm pissing glass latley. Last night was the worse. I was up all night shaking and pissing every 10 minutes. Doc got me in as soon as they opened and I have a bladder infection that may be up in my kidneys. He also said I am burning fat instead of carbs and that wasn't good. He said that should self correct.

I'm just glad it isn't my prostate or stones.

Anyone else ever get a bladder infection? Is it a side of HRT?

Immune system is rock solid. Never an ear infection, allergies, or nothing.

Not sure what you mean "burning fat instead of carbs".... to me, that sounds like a good thing?

He's saying you're in ketosis. That happens if you're running a really low carb diet -- is that the case?

I do watch my carbs. I would think that is a good thing though.

Haven't heard of TRT being a factor with bladder infections. Keep us posted on what you find out.

It's great for weight loss, but he may not understand you're intentionally limiting carb intake. I'm assuming he meant that you're in ketosis, and he would know that from a very simple test of your urine.

Other than that -- keep yer dick out of the farm animals!! That's how you got the infection -- we all know it. Come clean.

    Sucks guys...

I had another rough night and my wife took me to the hospital today. Turns out the infection is deffinitly in my kidneys so I got some stronger meds and a pain killer. At least i caught this early.

Should just ba a few days. They said to see my doc if it goes over three. Glad I saw a doc right away. I wouldn't want to jack up my kidneys.

Thorsz, you are lucky you didnt get admitted. And I wouldnt say you caught it early this time bro if it has moved into your kidneys. Hope it clears up fast - u on cipro? Most of the time when it goes to the kidneys the antibiotic is administered through an IV. Feel for ya bro.

yep, I am on Cipro. I guess I could have caught it sooner, but i did catch it in time to not do damage. Not sure why they didn't do an IV, at least to rehydrate me. Glad they didn't admit me. I went in earlier this year and it freaked my kids out.
