Had injury and put on wieght....lose weight before cycle?

Hey guys, I'm gonna be getting back on a cycle in a little while. First I need to be cleared by my doctor before I hit the gym. I had a head injury a few month back and I ended up with a fractured skull, brain swelling, and a blood clot (brain). It was a work injury and was not related to training. I could not work nor train for over three months and I put on some fat and lost some size. I don't know what my bodyfat is at the moment but I have a gut and love handles from just sitting around the house and doing nothing all day except eating junk and taking it easy. It's been tough, I have short term memory problems, confusion, and stress out for the little things like grocery shopping! I improved a great deal but I'm still having issues. My latest CT scan showed improvement but the fracture is still there. I was in the ICU for three days before I was released from the hospital.

Soon as I'm cleared, I'll have to get back in the gym for at least 1-2 months before I jump back on my cycle. What is your guys opinion on the weight issue? I lost muscle while gaining fat and it really got me self conscious. I don't want to lose a lot of muscle but I think I really need to hit the cardio harder than ever before. My next cycle consist of Test, Tren A, EQ, and Dbol.

Thanks guys, anyone that had a brain injury and can give me some useful tips let me know. I was in shape but for a majority of my life, I wasn't. So, it's really bugging me out. I hope I get cleared tomorrow.

I've had about half a dozen concussions (one of which was pretty severe), but nothing in the realm of what you've been through. I know at times, especially playing ball, I'll feel real groggy. My short term memory is also touchy at times (sometimes I entirely lose train of thought in conversation, or not know a word I use regularly in conversation). But again, I feel like a whiner, in comparison I haven't been through much. Hope everything works out for you brother and you progress well physically and mentally.

P.S. I know falling out of shape can be detrimental, but make sure you don't sacrifice your health to get in shape. Keep your doctor aware of everything you intend to do.

No dice, I didn't get cleared to go back to my "regular" life just yet. I guess he made sense when he told me that its a short period in my life where I need to just sit back and rest. If not, I can cause more injuries and relapse. On a positive note I can start doing some light cardio and training in about 2-3 weeks. Then I can slowly work my way back up the hill. This sucks, I can't even drive long periods at a time! Well at least I am determined more than ever to get in top shape....that is, when I am 100% healthy.

Take it with its benefits provided. Use this as a time to gather information and plan your progress from here: diet, routine, potential cycles, etc. Always better safe than sorry brother.
