Which way to go for a speedy ACL recovery?

Ok, Im a newbie here and Im not exactly sure what I can and cant say, so ill just put it all out there and hope for the best Im a 28 year old motocross rider that just made 8 weeks post op for a ACL reconstruction/LCL and meniscus repair. Im 5'11, and weigh 145 lbs. I weighed this through out high school up until college when I did my first (and only) cycle. I gained 15-20 lbs, and managed to keep 10-12 of it for about 5 years. I didnt have my surgery right away, so walking around with a blown out knee had a drastic effect on my weight. Now that Im on the down side of recovery, I just cant seem to gain it back. Im SOoo ready to get back out on the track, and my main goal is to re-gain strength in my legs and shorten my recovery time (and little extra muscle wouldn't hurt either). I dont know much about this stuff, but have made up my mind that this is the way to go. I have done a little research, and it seems these are my two best choices. First, would be a cycle of deca and test 200. I have read that deca is great for recoveries such as mine, and it lubricates joints. I also read that it should be taken with a light test (hence the 200). Now this was what I was originally set on, but another option was brought to my attention. Growth hormone. I understand that GH makes EVERYTHING grow, and Im not sure i want EVERYTHING to grow lol. Ive read its much better for you (ie skin tone, immune system, etc. ) but Ive also read that its not that great for stacking on weight. Now as for the deca/test cycle, Im sure it will stack on the weight, but im not thrilled about the acne. So... I guess Im looking for your experienced opinions on what my best route would be. Regaining strength in my knees is priority one... followed by gaining back my weight + some while Im at it. Any info/opinions would be greatly appreciated.... I just wanna get strong/healthy and get back on the track where I belong.

At 5'10 and 145lbs the only thing you need is food.

AAS won't help heal your injury any quicker.

You need to slowly ease back into the gym after your injury, and keep your diet tight and clean.

    I agree^^^

You are better off going about it this way, and perhaps taking a gander in the injuries/rehab section. I've seen a few threads discussing this topic. Perhaps making a thread there and see if anyone can assist you.

Thanks fellas for the input. I dont know what it is about me but Ive NEVER been able to gain no matter how much I eat. People always are telling me they dont understand how someone can eat so much without gaining. Ive tried weight gainer, that heavy duty protein stuff, eating small quantities frequently, (as well as eating large quantities) eating before bed, large amounts of protein per day...I just cant gain. Like I said the only reason Ive been @ 155-160 the past few years is because of my first cycle. It just stuck for some reason. Now Ive lost it because I haven't been able to do my normal activities. And doesn't AAS promote muscle healing? My legs (knees) are week, and in therapy i push hard and they hurt the next day. So if i jumped on a little something, wouldn't that help them recoup quicker?

I've been plagued with joint issues since a teenager when I blew out my ACL and had my knee reconstructed. I tried different supplements mainly glucosamin/chondroiden (sp?) and cissus for about 10/2 years respectively. It seemed to work really well until I re-injured my knee last year. Since then I've been researching different AAS to see if there was anything I could find. I found that HGH is good for collagen reproduction. Deca/EQ/Anavar seem to moisturize collagen too. I did a 8 week anavar (60mg/ed) + Test Prop (150mg/wk) cycle to see how my knees would feel. It helped. Then I went on a Deca/EQ/Test, 150mg/100mg/150mg per week cycle for 12 weeks. I'm now in PCT and my knee feels much better. I don't know if it's healed or if it's temporary, too early to tell. I've come to the conclusion that there is no magic cure for joint injury. On the other hand, AAS like Anavar, Deca, EQ, & HGH seems to make my knee feel better.
