I watched this yesterday, theres been a few similar cases of late. A soldier here in Manchester was beaten up outside a club, he was on leave from Afghan. Luckily old bill was sent to jail for beating him up....

Wow, wtf?! I don't get it, they show him being aided, and then jump to a scene of him getting beat up. Now what happened in between? You never see him instigate anything. Probably why they dropped the charges. Then again, so much lack of information it's impossible to know what really happened.

The cops were smashing/killing bees that were on the guys shirt. They saved him from multi bee stings. If anything those cops deserve a metal.

Even if the guy did wind up the police they should not do stuff like that, they have been trained to calm down situations and effectively restrain people. So when it comes to "self defense" punching people is not acceptable. Even if he did attack them , two wrongs dont make a right. If it was an eye for an eye, everyone would be blind. Thats why the police are hear to get rid of the people who commit crimes in any form, they arent here to stoop as low as them and retaliate.

It's happened before, and it'll happen again. Has a bit to do with the temperament/disposition of the officers on the force. Some are no more than thugs with a badge, so they act accordingly. They aren't all like that, but these are the ones that are. Yeah, think, with that many guys, they didn't need to punch him repeatedly. All you'd have to do is sit on him and he would be immobilized. Uh oh, this leaves me open for a gay remark. I mean gain forward control or whatever they call that in wrestling. Basically punching the crap out of him amounts to nothing more than malice.
