tattoos and stretching - aas makes it worse?

Might be a silly question, but I am contemplating getting some ink done on my inner bicep. I am also looking to run my first test cycle within the next 6 months to a year. How bad would the stretching be on the tat? I figure it would take an outrageously huge amount of arm growth to really stretch out a tattoo to the point where it's noticeably distorted. Just wondering if anyone has had experience with this.

Shouldn't be a problem if your artist is any good. I got a half sleeve done halfway through a test e/dbol cycle and my ink looks fine. It's all black 2, which seems to look the worst when the skin gets stretched out.

Common sense really, if your getting a tattoo before bulking up (depending on mass gain) your tattoo will stretch and look distorted, if your on a cycle and getting a tattoo and lose mass it will distort unless you keep that physiq for the rest of your life.

My advice is, find your right stats/size and maintain it... if your able to maintain it on a regular basis go ahead and get the tattoo it wont distort since it wont be stretched brother.

    Goodluck.

I figured it would take a ridiculous amount to make it look bad, but I don't really know from experience. Say I would put on 2 inches around my arm in the next year (which unfortunately won't happen), I still wouldn't think ink on the inside of my bicep would really stretch that much. Any other thoughts?

How far along were you when you had that? Did you get it during the huge process or were you already pretty big when you got it done? Looks pretty badass by the way.

your skin has some natural stretch to it anyways.. so if the tattoo is a quality tattoo done by someone that knows what he is doing, then you will be fine.

I think it is dependent on the quality of artwork done by the artist, although you should always be cautious of the area when stretching and lifting for the first few days until after it scabs and starts peeling. After all who wants to get touch up work done.. Only work I've noticed on my upper that has needed touch up work since I did my first bulking cycle is my chest, some might not be so lucky though. Lotion always helps too.

I got my Wolverine tattoo on my left arm about a year ago. I told my artist I was planning on putting on some muscle and asked her if it would distort it. She said no so I got it done. My ink still looks perfect. The image is still nice and sharp looking. So I would say talk to your artist and get their opinion.

Keep in mind that the skin grows more than just stretchs (at least in a young healthy individual) to accomadate growth, it does not just stretch like a balloon. In addition it grows/stretchs all the way around the arm not just at the side of the bicep, so if even if you arms were 18" and you grew them to 22" that would still only be a 19% change, to put that into perspective thats about the same as viewing a 4/3 tv show on a 16/9 wide screen tv, something we do all the time.

Don't get ink done. It'll look silly when your older.

Ink ain't me either but I certainly respect an individuals choice on the matter, an appropriate tatoo, tatoos ( IMHO ) just shows/reflects the persons spirit and desires. Some of the work done on individuals really adds character to an older person and paints a picture of their life and youth.

Plus unless you are talking about really extensive work, its pretty easily removed and the ease of removal will only get better as time marches on.
