time off during pct - bad idea?

Hi All, looking for some advice...

I have sustained a minor injury to my wrist a while back, nothing serious, just swelling/fluid from doing weights. it flares up when doing push movements. have had it checked out by a doc and had scans, etc. (no major damage)

advice is 3 weeks rest from weights and am on antiflam meds (similar to say nurefen but a bit stronger).

I am on week 11 of my cycle (test P) so soon to hit the PCT.. just wondering what would be the affects of resting during pretty much the entire PCT? as I am led to beleive this is the time you need to continue hitting it hard to help maintain your gains.

    whats your thoughts?

Yep ^^ sure a layoff during PCT will affect gains but this loss of mass will be temporary. However if you do further damage to your wrist you may wind up having an injury that prevents good gains for years to come..be careful. Look closely at any excersize that causes pain and see if you can use another change technique to avoid strain, often a machine can be used to substitute free wieght and lessen load on the wrist.
