For those of you who didn't read, or do not remember my first thread, here is a quick link.

So I finally got that appointment with my oncologist, and I talked to him about using steroids. He, as a doctor should, took the time to lecture about the common dangers of steroids. I asked him the highly anticipated (and dreaded) question about whether or not the use of steroids would be like a death sentence, given my history of testicular cancer. In a round-a-bout way, I got my answer "no". But at the same time, it is still a risk because not all is known about cancer in general. But one thing was for certain, was that there is a link between
prostate cancer and testosterone. Prostate cancer cells are very responsive to testosterone. My doctor mentioned a study done in the UK, researchers did autopsies on males who died in car crashes. They found that 1 in 4 of their subjects died with dormant cancer cells in/on their prostate. Scary.
The one reassuring piece of knowledge that I learned was that testosterone does not effect testicular cancer. Thinking about it, it makes sense being as that testicular cancer was something I was born with, and all through puberty and teenage years (when my testes were producing the most testosterone) my cancer cells never budged.
So I decided to move forward and start a cycle.
Regardless, I am still being as cautious as I can by reading up and being aware of all the tell tale signs of various types of cancer
(prostate, colon, brain, testicular), and actively checking myself for them. I've spent many long hours (actually days) reading article after article while weaving through many anti-steroid campaigns. I've decided to go with a light, 200mg/per week, 10-week cycle of deca. I train 3 days minimum per week. I am on week two.
I'm sure that some of you may disapprove and think I'm being reckless, but I'm well aware of the risks I am taking and chose to move forward regardless. I hope that you will benefit from the little information I have provided, and the more I may provide in the future.

P.S. Please read thoroughly before responding. A lot of the responses I got in my last thread I felt weren't fully informed. Some responders seemed to think that I still have cancer and am undergoing treatment.
I no longer have cancer and have been done with treatment for almost 3 years now.
