    need an edge

    Hello I am new to this forum and I have a couple of questions. Right now I am currently 18 years old playing high school football. This upcoming year I will be a senior. I have a really good chance to earn a starting spot this year on our dline but the only problem is our other d linemen are significantly bigger then I am. I am not as strong as them as well. Our team has a very good strength program ran by a former NFL strength coach. We also have a team diet that I follow very strictly and I know this will help me get bigger and stronger but everyone else on the team is doing the same. Could any of you recomend and good suplements to take to try and bulk up quicker and gain strength faster. I am not really into the Idea of taking steroids at this age but I thought this might be a good place to start asking about supplement info. Any suggestions help. Thanks for your time.

    Yeah creatine monohydrate should help you out. You say you got a team diet so I'm sure you already supp with some kind of protein. I started taking Whey when I was a soph playin football. Drink shakes before and after workouts and throughout day. High protein and just high calories everyday and try out creatine and I'm sure if you train hard enough you will get as big as you need to be. Your way too young for steroids. Your body is still producing plenty of natural Test and will until they say about the age of 25. If you do a cycle at your age you could mess yourself up for life. Good luck!

    You may try some Gama O (google it)
    Make damm sure you are eating every couple of hours, as your body can metabolize so much protein per hour, the rest is excreted.
    And remember. Muscles can only grow at REST. If you pound your muscle group one day, then totally rest that muscle group for 2 days.

    maybe go to the diet section and post what your diet is so we can see and critique.

    I had to forget about football when I was your age way back when. I was only about 150 lbs, and we had a fairly decent Sumoan population. The little ones had 50 lbs on me easy. the big ones were 100 lbs bigger. The black fellas all seemed to be quicker and there didn't seem to be any room for me. So I just fukked the cheerleaders!

    Must have missed that one. But I'm too old, and just now started to increase intensity. Have to go real slooooooooooooow since just out of rehab and don't want to reinjure.
