Anavar colours and fast twitch exercises vs gear

    Hi guys

FNG with a couple of questions.

Firstly, are the colours of anavar MG's the same accross the board, or will they vary depending on the manufacturer? I'm researching anavar before I commit to it and if I do end up starting a cycle, I want to know that I'm getting the real deal. As long as everything looks good, I'll be doing a 50mg per day cycle, but I want to make sure I'm not getting sugar pills incase say a 50mg pill is supposed to be red, and I'm being sold yellow or something along those lines.

Lastly, would I be wasting my time going on a cycle of anything and then only doing exercise that worked on my fast twitch muscles (like say Tae Kwon Do, boxing, squash etc.) compared to slow twitch (like power lifting, body building etc.)?

    Thanks!

Anavar comes in many different forms and many different colors.... essentially you're never gonna know for sure if you're getting the real deal until you are well into your cycle, even the real ones get faked..... You have to really trust your source.

Also, if you're interested in some help or advice, please include all your stats in you first post of each thread.... at least until we get to know you.

    Age?
    Height?
    Weight?
    BF %?
    Training Exp?
    Cycle Exp? (If any)
What kind of diet do you follow? (Brief summary)

Thanks, and Welcome to the board!

    Thanks for the welcome

As for me, well I can be broken down into the following:

    Age: 34
    Height: 5'11
    Weight: 217 lbs.
    BF %: Don't know yet (rough guess around 18 - 20%)
Training Exp: Not training right now but on and off within the past year. Dabbling between body building, strength training and power lifting, but nothing steady to consider one being greater than the other. Right now since I'm moving from Wasaga Beach to Toronto Ontario, I'm working out at home doing body weight and sand bag workouts.
Cycle Exp?: *edited* Actually now that I remember, I did oral Androstene back in '03. I noticed huge gains after about week 5 and didn't lose any hair or develop any acne
Diet: Well I regiment my diet by eating at/close to the same times of the day every day. I'll get up, take 250mcg's of synthroid (I have no thyroid) at 17:00 hours, eat "breakfast" (anything ranging from beef, to chicken, to pork with a vegitable side dish anywhere from a baked potatoe to a salad) at 18:00 hours and then eat while I'm at work at 21:30, 01:00 and then 04:30 hours, and then go to bed around 09:00hours. I've recently started eating oatmeal for breakfast which is helping to bring the fat down (in a week I've dropped 5 lbs, since I've been eating oatmeal). My meals at work consist of either one peanut butter sandwich or roast beef and cheese sandwich per meal, a can of Sprite and usually a billet log or granola bar.

    Thanks for all the details....

To be honest, I think you need to get your training routine set into place for at least 9 months (minimum).... make sure your tendons and ligaments strengthen with your muscles. During this time, you can work on bringing your body fat down as much as possible. You can also work on perfecting your diet. This board has an amazing diet section with a lot of guys with vast knowledge, head over to the diet section and look at some of the diets that have been posted to help get an idea as to what you should do, and if you have any questions..... just ask.

The reason I offer this advice as compared to just telling you "sure go ahead" is, if your muscles develop too fast due to AAS use, you must remember your ligaments and tendons will not develop at the same speed. This will put you in a high risk situation so suffer serious injury, especially with all the activities you speak of doing. Being that active and getting too strong too fast with under developed tendons and ligs..... can only lead to one thing.... injury and put you out of the gym and activity for at least 2 months. As for the body fat.... the lower the better when running AAS.... and your diet sounds like it needs serious work, as does most people who are new here.

Anyways, Good luck and if you have any more questions.... just ask

    Merry Christmas

Hey thanks for getting back to me. This section of the forum is my first step towards exploring the rest of it, so I look forward to my future endeavors. Good to hear about the tendons and ligaments advice as I hadn't even considered that. I've really taken a shine towards powerlifting as well as kettle bells for strength training. I'm not in any rush or need to win any competitions, so that affords me the 9 months to be patient. On a semi related note in terms of ligaments and tendons, I have been following someone by the name of Scott Sonnon for a few years now. He has a program he's developed called "circular strength training" or "Intuflow" which from what I've seen, is a program designed to target the joints. If you get a chance to check him out, he's all over youtube and he's a great learning resource in addition to being someone who's overcome some pretty great challenges since birth.

So what would your thoughts be on yoga for helping out with building up strength in the ligaments and tendons? Do you think that adding that to a traditional right angle form of weight lifting would help speed up the process?

    Anyways, gotta run!

    Merry christmas!

To tell you the truth, I don't know anything about yoga, but imagine it would most likely benefit you. Hopefully someone else with some experience with that can chime in.

BTW.... you must be from Canada.... what part?
