Hi all, lot of reading, but I need the best advice from someone EXPERIENCED and UNDERSTANDING.
I'm not new to steroids, but it has been well over a decade since I've done a cycle. I did a cycle for college football here in Cali back in 2001. I am now 32 years old and I still lift like I'm a college athlete.
My problem is that I think I just hit my wall, I guess. I can't heal very well AT ALL. I can't get stronger on lifts I used to be able to easily get my strength back in. I can't just throw a lil' muscle here or there to even up in a few weeks. I am one off those ginetic freaks who benched 335 weighing 165 in high school at age 17. I tested 27 reps with 225, completley natural (mcdonalds diet) in college ball. It took me 6 days to heal from a basic barbell curl workout, only 3 sets! haha. Still was 145 lbs, but not a lot of sets. I'm missing workouts and can't work out as many days a week. I have no energy.
And before any of you say diet, I can assure you it's not. It's immaculate, as is my supps(flaxseed oil, fish oil, good carbs, good fats, creatine, super high protein, etc.) That's why I'm taking this step. Everything is the same, except my body.
I picked up 2 10ml bottles of Test Enanthate 300 from a legit source. I also got a bottle of Nolvadex as well. I am knowledgeable about steroids and usage and pct.
Here's my question. Should I do 500/mg a week (split mon/thurs) for 12 weeks. Or should I do 300 mg a week for 10 weeks, & save the other bottle in case I need a boost again later in year. I'm afraid of doing the 500mg & having none left later in the year around cutting time in June if I start to feel this way again. Do you think if I ran 300mg twice in one year it would be effective next cycle still? Remember, I HAVE muscle, I am not looking for HUGE size, I am already 6' 230lbs. I just want heal and feel normal, basically. I'm not looking to put on 20 lbs.
For instance, would 300mg ran for 10 weeks starting next week give me enough of a boost I'm looking for. And then, would another 300mg a week for 10 weeks ran in June raise my T levels up enough to just heal and feel normal? Or will I have adjusted to that dose and it won't be effective.
I have no problems running 500/mg but If I can get by only taking the 300, I will. I don't care about size, I have it.
Your honest opinions would be very helpful from EXPERIENCED ATHLETES ONLY PLEASE. & I know some of you will say stack it with deca for my old joints, but I'm just running Test for therapy purpose.

stats: 6', 230-240, 14%-17% bodyfat.(in my bulking months)
Incline BB Bench - 315 X 3. (225 x 12-18)
Squat - 365 x 8-10 (don't squat too heavy, old ACL tear playing football)
Deadlift/no belt/no straps - 405 X 6-8. (rarely go real heavy on this due to old back injury in football)
BB Rows - No straps, 275-315 X 6-8 reps. (Warm up 225 X 10.)
Military Press - 275 X 6-8. 225 X 15.
DB Row - No straps, 160 x 4-8.
