Will AAS use show up in academic kin. study?

    Hi guys,

One of my collegues is running a study at my university on protein absorbtion rates in a variety of workout conditions (ie pre, post workout) based on when the protein is taken. They need participants, and I was hoping to be one, and have always participated prior--so it would be odd to say no to this one.

I just started a cycle of test C and oral winni. For the study they will be taking muscle biopsies and bloodwork--primarily checking for protein absorbtion levels. My questions for any vets or academics out there; how (if at all) would the winni/test be reflected in these tests? Secondly, will the use of them cause protein absorbtion rates far exceeding that of a natural athlete?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

I would hypothesized that you would have higher rate than the normal athlete depending on how much test ur taking.
Just be honest about it and see what u get. good to have a study done

Informing the study practioner of my aas use is not an option--too closely tied to my athletics; aas there is a no no.

Yes, your results will look far different than someone natural, since protein synthesis will be off the charts. I wouldn't do it, since you'll skew the results of the study (and because muscle biopsies will interfere with your cycle).

I'd just say: "bro, I've got better shit to do than have you harvest slices of my muscles".

haha, good point Bonaparte. I've just participated other years prior--so it just seems out of character for me to reject the free protein and willingness to help out with the study. However, if the aas will cause drastically different results there is certainly no point in doing it--I'll have to tell them I just don't have time/cant be down from training to recover from biopsies.

Yea, you're going to be way off. What do you think steroids do. Increase protein synthesis. Just say no and make up an excuse.
