    Complex Carbs

I find most diets call for oats, brown rice and sweet potatoes. Is there not anything easier and more convenient to eat during the day and posy workout? I am a college football player (receiver) and model. What about whole wheat bread? Anything else I could go with throughout day as my complex carbs with my meals? Thanks!

Whole wheat bread is probably the best alternative, just make sure your whole wheat bread does not include any enriched flour as an ingredient. I am assuming you live in the States? Get some Ezekiel Bread if you cannot afford other complex carbs due to lack of free time to prepare.

if u dont live in the states i dont know how easy is it to get ezekiel bread, im in ireland and its impossible. nobody has even heard of it over here. ur best option imo is to use ground oats instead of making oatmeal. buy ground oats, or alternatively use a coffee bean grinder to grind ur own. mix them in a shake with some milk and a bit of chocolate milk-shake powder and they're delish! whole wheat bread is descent though.

Just do the best you can. If you go with whole grain bread or pasta, stay away from the enriched stuff as TJ pointed out. Make sure your bread doesn't contain high fructose corn syrup, that stuff is poison.

It all comes down to how clean you want to eat. In the grand scheme, it won't make a huge difference IMO.
