I bought it and it is really informative. I think someone here recommended it.
Anyway, the author who is a big proponent of TRT says injections are not the best way to go. He prefers gels and pellets over injections.

injects tend to have more peaks and valleys than the others,, that is why he prb doesnt like them,, they do however bring your levels way higher than the other forms imo.

There has been lots of people on the board who have complained about gel/cream and switched to injections. It just isn't ready for primetime across all unique individuals.
Besides, the manufacturers warn against transference, and the harm that can do children and the fetus of a pregnant wife! So long live injectibles.

Dr. Shippen's protocol may be out of date. I've done the gels. They don't absorb, they smell, and the T can be transferred to your wife and kids.
Shots are simple and their side effects can easily be controlled. I also can't imagine routinely having to have pellets inserted under my skin or dealing with a patch.

Let's see beginning total test 550. After 3mths of test C weekly injections total test 1079. After 6mths of 10% testosterone cream total test 420. There was no change in life style that would affect test levels. Yesterday I went back on test c injections.
