Can you lean out or stay lean on D-bol?

Is this is the urban myth that wont go away? or can this happen? Personally, I would stay away from D-bol because of the bloat or water gain, and even the size/mass gains. I am primarily interested in strength and power, and have a weight class to stay in. If one stays away from the bulking diet can you stay lean on this drug? I'm not looking to do something different for the sake of being different, I just happen to really like the idea of Anavar, and have had great success with it, but I happen to have a few bottles of D-bol sitting around. I would just trade locally for what I want, but no one knows I have this stuff, and I would like to keep it that way.

I've talked to two different guys that swore they either leaned out or stayed lean on D-bol, but I'm not sure how far to take their word on this.

Everyone reacts differently to Dianabol. I get no water bloat on 20mg a day but others may get some. If your calories/carbs are low and you take 10-15mg per day you can use the anti catabolic and protein synthesis effects of Dianabol without putting on water bloat. (in theory)

As i said, everyone reacts differently to it. It's up to you whether you risk it.

I agree with this. JUst finished a test dbol cycle and gained a good amount of stength and weight, but i was on a heavy calorie surplus. I really only felt and looked noticeably bloated when i didnt drink enough water. This was my first cycle so don't put too much thought into what i have to say, just sharing my recent experience.

I would have assumed diet/intake would play a large part of the end result. Lets assume I stuck with a maintenance protein intake, or possibly a slight deficit. The dose would be 30mg a day, though I could go up to 45 (60/30/60/30) or down to 15 (30EOD). Last time I tried the stuff I'm talking about I was on a maintenance intake or slight deficit at times, and was able to maintain weight, add considerable strength, yet never got any leaner.

The more credible guy I talked to who leaned out on D-bol probably wasn't the best example. He'd been on anything he could get his hands on since the early 80's, never came off, and was so shredded and dry that he could probably fatten up and still be well under 10%. He also had a diet that would impress even the most dedicated competitive bodybuilders.

I've taken it twice with arim@ .5 ed (probably over kill) zero bloat i was taking 500mg of test with it the first time. 300mg test 300mg trend the second. Both times the dbol was ran at 50mg ed
