yeah dec11, i saw that! its a wild animal it was searching for food and the closet food was human. i don't think that the people went looking for this animal, so it was self defense. if you read the article it states that they were trying to get it into the wildlife sanctuary. survival of the fittest! i am a conservationist but i also hunt and fish. i hate the fact that they killed a beautiful animal like a leopard but shit happens!

That's very sad. If they would've just left it alone I'm sure it would have gone back into the wilderness. Don't understand why humans always try to control nature. They tried to drive him back into wild like cattle or something. To me it's obvious that was not going to end well.

True, and I know there are times when animals must be killed because they are a direct threat to human lives, but I just think this incident could have been easily not been one of them. Just a little more caution and it would've been easily avoidable. And honestly those times that can't be avoided are generally in direct relation to a bad scenario humans have created. What pops into my mind is the video where that elephant freaks out and runs around ramming through gates and smashing people. Sure, that was a terrible sight..but why have an animal that large and capable of such things in that type of environment with trainers and people constantly irritating it. These are not domesticated animals.

In the Wild, animals are not pussies like humans, they kick ass and DONT ask questions later. Anyone seen that video where a Doe and its Fawn trot into a suburb and the Doe ****s up that dog? Sure the dog probably wouldnt have done anything, but a Mother deer is simply not going to take that chance while she is rearing a young and defenceless fawn.

Christ, it was simply obeying it's instinct. If it was a leapord that attacked a wild dog, no one would have batted an eyelid.

    Humans suck!

Wild cats kill rabbits young turkeys quail not to mention all the other birds they kill. Now I have nothing against cats. But we pay a lot of money to stock turkeys quail grouse. Then to have people turn their cats loose.Only to rip into your trash kill your wildwife.Sorry I dont agree with that. The avg cat kills 1 bird everyday. This was a study done on cats. And not in every state is it legal to kill feral cats. But it should be.We sportsman laid out a lot of money to restock turkeys in my state. My so peoples cats could have a buffet. You want a animal take care of it.I paid over 3000.00 in fines for killing a feral cat.Seems like the Humane socity cant tell the truth. The same with peta. They ask for money to save animals. But they use it for other things.Their day is coming.I served my country while most of these liars were sittin home drinking beer and smoking weed.I am just one of many.Who are tried of paying for something.Only to watch it be destroyed by people with dumb ideas and thoughts and run and hide behind laws they helped make. These people have ads on tv.Showing miss treated animals wanting you to give money to help them. But it was proved. They use most of the money. To push for new laws to push their ideas down your throat. So we as sportsman.Dont need to meet anyone anywhere. We see how this game is being played.People talk big on tv radio and on the net.But only a few of us really know wat it is.To be some place other than home.Where you are not wanted. And see your friends being killed. So when some one says any time or any where or he would like to get his hands on.All I can say is just thank God he didnt give you wat you asked for.Sorry for the rant.

I think those morons all got what they deserved, and I'd raise a glass to that cat for being a champ and dying the "beautiful death."

Why the **** wouldn't you just leave? I sure as shit wouldn't want to hang around a wild leopard...as soon as I saw it ripping the first guy apart I'd take off, anyone who doesn't do the same deserves what they get.
