How to get an avatar

First off I want to say that I did a search first before posting this question. I can't seem to find where/how from my profile to add an avatar. Can anyone help me?

Go to top right corner of the site to "Settings" and click

then on the left side you will see a list, click "Edit Avatar"

and this will take you to adding one
