ok, I finally gave in...here I am.
I've been reading this site for a while now, figured I'd join the conversation.
Little bit about me....
33 years old. Been lifting for 13 years. No major injuries.
Pretty strong (if there's 30 guys in the gym, I'm with the top 8 in strength
in different exercises). Hope this might give you some idea.
I guess I'm a lot like most guys that grew up seeing all these amazing
physiques and really going after it, and finally realizing how much we as
weightlifters and bodybuilders have been lied to by the media and even by the guys with the great physiques. I'm pretty strong, and I won't ever look crazy cut and big like those amazing hardbodies (though I don't want to be crazy big....thats too much. But a nice built lanky frame wouldn't be bad). I guess I just always figured when I got this strong, that I would look a little closer to
what we all imagined we should...
I am by no means that crazy outta shape or anything (6'3" talls, 212 right now...in a cut cycle), but I guess I've always wondered how much I could change my frame/physique.
I currently take/do the basics....good diet, whey protein, glutamine, and some crazy workouts.
So in general, it's good to be here, and I gotta say this is a great site to put
out this info, because we have all seen some mess with people that have no idea
what they are doing with this stuff (and some starting waaaaay to early).
I guess it's better to just get the info out there and let folks make
their own decisions as opposed to letting them play with their futures and
doing real harm.
Thanks for a great forum/community! and thanks for letting me be a part of it.
Look forward to getting to know everyone.
