I've done plenty of both. I yield leaner gains using syntha.

    ^^^ interesting.

Syntha probably tastes better, but Myofusion has fewer carbs and fat. Syntha is way too high in fat for a protein powder IMO... why do you think it tastes so good?

I'm guilty of using Myofusion myself, although I feel it also generally contains too much fat for a protein powder. However, I like the protein blend, and it tastes great, so I made this allowance.

Ideally, the least amount of fat and carbs, i.e. straight protein would be the best choice. I often use ON's Pro Complex. Pretty much any product from Beverly is top notch as well.

There is only one reason any supplement company would use a propritery blend in protein powders and amino acid supplements. That is to mislead the buyer into believing they are getting a good blend when in fact the majority of the protein (or aminos) comes from the cheapest avail source and it only contains a sprinkle of the other types of proteins (or aminos) . Now i dont put too much stock in diff proteins yielding measurably different results....but if im paying for a blend I damn sure want a proper one. When i use a blend its Team Skip-when I dont its the cheapest name brand whey conc i can find (ie: last time i purchased was sportpharma just whey , 5lbs for $22) . I get alot of diff protein sent my way as well. I use whatever...dont care how it tastes ...same results. Id bet 99.9% of all people here could use soy and it wouldnt make any difference in results.

^^ speaking of this - for anybody in the states, check out trueprotein dot com - you can customize your own blend, it's fawking awesome. Shipping is a bit pricey however, so I suggest you place a sizable order to make it worth the cost!

I was always told to stay away from soy protein because it increases estrogen levels. Any truth in that?

There are studies saying yes, and others saying not to worry. Personally, I don't use it... until there's a definitive answer, i'd rather be safe than sorry. It's not like soy is some great source anyway, there's far better.

I went through a tub of strawberry syntha 6 and it was good but i dont much care for the ingredient profile. I do enjoy the banana perfection myofusion though.
