DHT the real reason behind hair loss?

I know that DHT gets a lot of the blame for the hair loss from steroids but could it be bacteria? I think it's common knowledge that taking steroids kills off good and bad bacteria in the intestinal tract and without a good diet, bad bacteria can proliferate. In other cases where the bad bacteria gets out of control, it's been proven to cause hair loss in the patients. Could this be an overlooked cause of hair loss from steroids?

No, steroids, birth control as well as antibiotics among other things can cause die off of intestinal bacteria. It makes a lot of since if you think about it. The hair loss, acne/cystic acne, depression/mental illness, heart disease, etc. that are experienced by some steroid users are all symptoms of a flora imbalance.

No dude. You're confusing AAS with corticosteroids, if not antibiotics.

Is this going to turn into a neurotransmitter debate? Lol.

I get what you are saying but you are thinking about this too much. Yes I'm sure that can cause hairloss in extreme cases but steroids don't cause hairloss, genetics cause hairloss. If genetically predisposed then AAS can speed that process.

If DHT was not the reason for the increase in loss the topical DHT blockers or things like finasteride would bs of no use, but they are effective to a certain extent. With test you likely can minimize or even stop loss with enough time using it. With others like primo, mast, tren you will likely have a much more difficult time.

My personal expeience is after 30 years of steroid use the ONLY thing that made me lose any hair at all was DHT (Masteron)......
