    Enlarged heart

Cardiologist tells me I have enlarged ventrical....I needed cardiology clearance for surgery, they did stress test, and called me with this news today...can the grhp2 do this or the AAS or both? I was on hgh but switched to the grhp...obviously stopping the AAS, but do I need to stop the grhp also? I'm pretty wigged out right now, so any input would be appreciated. Prime example of why I shouldn't have taken advise of a local friend and researched what I was putting in my body.

AAS use is associated with an enlarged or thickening of the left ventricle, but this is also a trait that is found in many/most athletes. AAS use is thought to speed the process up or make it worse.

I doubt GH had anything to do with it unless you were taking ridiculously high doses for extended periods of time.

Good luck man and keep us posted.

Never more than 4ius of gh. And switched to peptide twice a day 100 mcg morning and bedtime. Didn't think it was the growth. Thanks alot, have to have a cardiac cath done next week.

Couple of questions: how old are you, what type of surgery did you need the cardiac clearance for, do you have any other medical problems?

Why did you need cardiac clearance? Men under 40 normally do not need a routine 12 lead EKG before surgery let alone a stess test. You will know more after the cath. Have you ever been told you had a heart murmur? Either mitral or aortic valve disease could lead to an enlarged heat and so can many other things
