    post work out meal timing

i take my post work out meal as soon as i finish lifting which consists of 30 grams protein, 30 grams dextrose, 1tbs cinnamon, and an extra 1000mgs l-arginine .how soon after this should i be eating my breakfast? the reason i ask is im concerned with adding food to early and slowing the absorption of my post work out meal. i usually eat 45-60 min after post meal.

Do you eat a pre wo meal?

Personally I would lose the dextrose and add in some oats instead! This way take your pwo meal nd eat 2-2.5 hours after!

Don't worry about slowing your absorption. Eat your breakfast and carry on with your day. There are studies showing protein synthesis INCREASES several hours PWO... and the whole 'anabolic window' theory has been all but debunked. Just hit your macros and let your body do the rest... don't sweat these small things, especially if you're not doing this for a living.
