can you "bulk" from getting 90% of your carbs from strictly vegetables ?

I am not diet expert, but I don't think this is a good plan--Stick to complex carbs: Oates, Sweet Taters, Waxy Maze, Ezequiel Bread
^^ this. Firstly, you'd need to eat an impossibly huge quantity of veggies to get anywhere near the calories that would constitute a traditional bulk. Veggies are generally low calorie/carb and higher in fiber.
Out of curiosity, why do you wanna know this?
There is no way you could get enough cals from all veggies. You need them in ur diet for micronutrients and to keep things moving along inside of you but stick with complex carbs for bulking. Oats, potatoes, rice, whole wheat pasta
Unless you have got a bastard of a body like mine and can put 10kg on by having a mash potato for dinner.. then no not really .. if you could do that you won't want to be bulking you would be trying to cut
Of course you can and many do. Just VERY UNCOMMON especially on this site. I haven't eaten meat since 1994. Haven't had dairy since 2004. I quit eating wheat and corn a few months back (great results).
Last time I checked those were all vegetables...
Gbrice I have seen your mind changed on eating many meals at all hours and get great results with Intermittent Fasting. Some guys over at VeganBodyBuilding do ok. But I'll be honest, the vegan diet is less than optimal for getting optimal results with muscle growth.
I have a hard time not going over in my calories. I try to stay close to 30/40/30 for the day and it's not that hard.
P.S. - I still cook meat when I have company and love to wear leather.
Don't flame me for coming out of the diet closet. It works for me.
Actually oats, waxy maize , and ezekiel bread are all grains or grain based ...not vegetables.

Notice - No grains are listed in the Vegetable group
The Bread, Cereal, Pasta are all grains just processed and everything I'm not allowed to eat ...
I learn something every day. Thanks fellas!
