so many people up on arms..even the, senate is thinking about an,investigation.. the, senate majority is even severely upset as he is a boxer leader himself and judges fights and is very disappointed in the judging .

I for one am glad that the US Senate has nothing better to do than call out an investigation on the outcome of a boxing match. My tax dollars are well spent there...

I can understand Nevada's Athletic Commission investigating (isn't that part of what the boxing promoters pay them those fees for?), but let's not stop important government matters so that we can handle what happened in sporting events. Doesn't anybody else think something is fvcked up about this?

Gambling was probably involved, so have Nevada's Gaming investigate. They don't do shit anyways. But let's not waste our precious congressional time over this bullshit.

the Nevada Athletic commission is the the part that is corrupt so how can they investigate themselves?

That's true, but my point was I just don't want to waste Congress time on this crap. They spent way too much time on baseball and wrestling already.

i think this is different then baseball. Yes they are both sports. but the Athletic commission is a state organization. So if they are corrupt i can see an investigation

This isn't an American outrage, if it was they could keep it quiet but its international with various organisations and promoters asking questions, after last pacquaio fight now this, they need an investigation otherwise Vegas will lose its status as main venue

You heard it here first, this is the break that Europe needs to take over

Even if they had Congress stop all other business to have hearings on this and an investigation, they're just as corrupt so we'd end up getting nowhere. Somebody would get fed to the wolves and nothing will be solved.

Drugs in sport was, indeed, a stupid use of resources. But corruption in sport is a bigger issue and the senator of a gaming state would want to make sure the perception of corruption doesn't continue. Sports betting will suffer if people believe it is a sham.

Dosnt matter where the fight is for ppv, in fact 80k in stadium will be selling point for ppv
