Total Test 303

I just had my annual physical. Dr ran blood test which came back showing my total test at 303. My Dr is telling me this is normal for 43 year old. Total test is down from 523 when I was 39.


The charts I'm checking show me below normal. What do you think? I would like to get TRT but not sure my dr will agree.

why didnt you list the measurements and just numbers but they look like ng/dl and your 43 you know what u need

Do most anti-aging clinics require you to get prescriptions from them or do they let you pick your pharmacy? Very new to the process and would appreciate a little direction. I'm in Dallas where we have anti-aging clinics all over.

I buy mine from Walgreens 200mg/ML 10 ML vial for $80 bucks a vial. They have a prescription plan you join and save over $20 a vial.

Dont get anything less than 10ML its a ripoff. 1ML is around $60.

Btw, 1 10 ML vial will last you at least 10 weeks depending on how much you use. 10 weeks at 200mg a week or 20 weeks at 100mg a week.\

EDIT - if you decide to use HCG, thats expensive and has a short shelf live once mixed. I am considering purchasing mine overseas. Its literally 10x cheaper. I paid $170 for one vial of 10k iu HCG. Complete rip off.

Walgreens, $80. Time to look for a new Dr. at 303 you might feel like hell. I was at 223 at 45 yrs. old and thought I was going spend the rest of my life taking a nap at 3pm

Get on the phone and check with the pharmacy who may be prescribing that treatment to other patients.

i think they mean compounding pharmacy....i personally wouldnt call a local retail type pharm and ask the same question...but i guess it can be done...

I haven't started an AI yet until after I get my bloodwork done. Dont know if I need it.

I bought some Liquidex from the board sponsor, 30ML, 1mg/ML but its sitting on my shelf. $50 bucks. If I use 1ml a week that will last me 30 weeks. Quite the bargain.

Ill be getting updated blood work in 3 weeks or so.

the compounding pharms imo will be a lil more laid back if you tell them up front you are middle aged and are having symptoms of low T, etc. and would like to know if they could recommend a doctor that prescribes injectable test...they would likely give you docs that they use so its going to be cash (no insurance) usually...there are a few exceptions from what i've seen however

Dallas,Why not ask at Sam's Club. Whats the worst that can happen? They wont know or cant help you it's more common especially if your in a large urban area.
You can also call around to local GP's to ask if they do that type of treatment, actually how I got from the clinic to a male GP in my town.

How do you feel? This is as important as your testosterone.

Also, it could effect what your doctor tells you, regardless of the number. my gut tells me he is a junk doc when it comes to male hormones, but you don't necessarily need TRT just cause your T is lower.
