    My weight and diet?

Someone recently said to me that at 5'7 and 165lbs my diet is "off" and lifting 5-6 days a week is to much.. When I asked why no response(yet).. Any insight to this or any other advice.. Im at 15% BF and would like to actually be heavier around 170 - 175 at 7 - 8% BF.. Is this goal way off or something.. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

5'7 and 165lbs with a 15% BF is not bad.

It is not good enough for anyone with BB purposes in mind either.

IMO, 5'7 and 165lbs with a 8% BF would be a much more realistic goal compared to 175lbs with 8% BF, again not very easy to achieve for anyone.

You will look bigger and more vascular with such stats.

Unless you are going through adolescence with high levels of naturally occurring hormones, going up to 175lbs with 7-8% BF without gear is a bit idealistic.

As for lifting 5-6 days a week, one cannot just say whether this is too much or not. It all depends on your training regimen and the level of intensity for each workout session. As long as you recover after every and each session, no one can or should arbitrarily claim that this is too much...

Thank you for your reply.. I truly appreciate it.. Im really considering gearing up but still have no clue where to begin and am weary of side effdects.. would gear still be recommended if I stay at 165? I want a vascular cut look. I know this is not the right forum but you are one of a few to give me solid opinion.. any direction on gear would help.. Im afraid of hair loss as well as liver problems. Thanks again

I wouldn't start talking about the gear before you provide us your full stats.

Also, diet and training regimen in detail needs to be posted.

As for side effects of AAS use, short(er) cycles provide much more manageable risks with the aid of modern OCT & PCT compounds. No major harm is given as long as the user is a fully developed (endocrine-wise) adult and whose cycle is designed by experienced & knowledgeable forum members.

... and just for the record, I personally would not recommend a cycle for you given your current BF. It is a bit high to start a cycle and attain satisfactory results on both physiological and psychological levels.

I cant say thank you enough.. How much detail should I give.. And if my bf is a bit high Im assuming continue to work hard to lower it before deciding if I want to start a cycle.. Im sure better advice could be given if my stats were given.. But like I said how much detail.. As far as diet goes I dont count calories.. Due to pancreas problems in the past I have a very high protein lof fat diet.. I try to keep my carbs moderate.. Im eating around 5-6 meals per day with some in between protein shake etc..

    1. How old are you?

    2. Do you have any prior cycle experience? If yes, provide details.

    3. What does your daily diet look like, post every meal consumed in one day including time with approximation for the amount of food you eat. For the record, you will have to sit down and calculate your daily TDEE to figure your daily need of calories and % of macros in that frame, especially if you are planning to get down with gear with the sole purpose of lean bulking and/or cutting.

    4. Post your workout regimen as well. Number of days, trained muscle groups in each session, exercises, sets, reps, cardio, abs, off days and etc.
