So, I had my medical today for my new job, a very thorough medical. It was in 2 parts first was the usual medical stuff my Bp and rested heart rate was fine all went well. Although she did mention a small umbilical hernia I have it's very small in my belly button, I have been monitoring it. And it's size does not change nor does it cause any discomfort, and is not overly visible unless looking for it so it does not concern me at this stage.

Next up was a physical, cardio, strength flexibility ect.

So straight up I have to remove my shirt and sit on the bed. She starts by saying. "do you use steroids?" I say no obviously, she then asks " have you used steroids?" I say no yet again. This physical lasted about half an hour during that tine the whole topic of conversation was steroid related, all implying I use. It was getting very annoying.

She then put a heart monitor on me and got me on the bike at a very mild pace of 50 rpm. All the time talking as she upped resistance every now and then, my heart rate got upto around 140 after 6 minutes. Now I am well aware my cardio sucks due to not doing any, however as of last week I ha e been doing cardio twice weekly and will now continue to do so.

Anyway so I finish bike and she tells me my cardio is very poor. I had no shortness of breath at all I maintained normal conversation with her the whole time, she told me she had to stop increasing resistance early because my heart rate was getting to high. And then continued to talk/lecture about steroids

And this fkn woman is very overweight, and looks like the last time she was on a bike was when it had training wheels and she was learning to ride it.

So now she has me feeling like shit and my new job seems some what doubtful.

Fvck her. I mean decision to use or not use juice is your business. Her job is just to find out if you're healthy or not.

And doctor or not, fat people like her wouldn't know what you could or couldn't naturally do in the gym. That's one place you know she's never been.

Yeah I agree. Hope the b!tch does not fvck my chances with this new job. She reckons she's seeing more and more people in my industry using, it's gonna be cuz of woman like this they will have steroid testing on our mine sites. That will suck!! As long as it doesn't happen for another 2-3 years, after that I never have to look at another mine site for the rest of my life.

Gonna be a long few days till I find out If I got the job I guess. I've been off test e for 3 months now, hopefully she hasn't suggested I get checked for steroid use, I'm unsure of the detection time of test e. Due to start my next cycle in may hopefully will be in the new job by then

I wouldn't sweat it, dude. She probably just wanted to ramble. You didn't admit to anything, so that's the end of it.

Next time bring her a happy meal from McDonals. That would piss me off for sure. After about the 2nd time I think I would have asked her if she had ever heard of this new fad called Working out and getting in shape? B*tch!!!

Seriously you should have asked her WHY the fvck she keeps talking about steroids? You told her NO. Would she like it if you asked her if she was pregnant due to her appearance and when she said no you kept preaching to her about proper pregnancy protocols?

Hmm she annoyed the fvck out of me, I just hope she does not suggest the company to delve a little deeper into testing me.
The job is for one of the largest mining companies in the world, think of the big two and Its one of them. Job is for heavy plant mechanic, anyone would think I'm trying to get into the bloody police force or an Olympic team or something.. I had to do a psycology test yesturday too...feeling rather violated at the moment.

Glad I had this interview process now though as in a month I'm back on, and tren of all things. If she thinks my cardio is bad now.........

Went for a good run this evening this will now be something I'll be doing daily from now on, have been meaning to do it for a while now.

I just had the echo cardiogram and treadmill test done 2 weeks ago. I also do very little cardio. They told me it should take 6-7 minutes to reach target heart rate of 140. 2 minutes into the test they said OK it was going to take a bit longer than they though since it had not budged yet. It took 12 min and they had to increase the speed and incline 2 more times past what they expected. lol They ran me up to 150+ because there were afraid it would drop back to normal to quick to get a good ultrasound reading.

Haha nice kinda wish mine went like this today, started proper cardio training now so all good, wonder if it has anything to do with my calorie restricted diet with low carbs, I've cut close to 40lbs in my first ever cut since taking bbing seriously I'm now about 10%bf I was at 220lbs 5.8 a few months ago. Moving around at work was a big struggle everything was too hard. I'm now primed and in the best shape for my upcoming cycle, I can see great things for this cycle. Primed and ready to roll!!

But will be ensuring my cardio is up to scratch before I start. Plan on getting blood work done too, this damn woman has me a little concerned,

Weird thing is the whole time I was on the bike I was not short of breath my breathing was normal and I was chatting as if I was just sitting there... 140 isn't exactly high either... Fvck her!!!

That doesn't really sound like you'd be underground as much a a miner, but is that the reason for all the psych?

It's a large open cut mine so no underground, ive been in mining for years, nothing has been this intense with pre employment they always carry out drug testing though and always check lung function, heart and alike. I believe it is so intense this time purely due to the size and caliber of the company.

Only time will tell I guess, I didn't admit to steroid use and I can't be as unfit as some of the people out there, couldn't have been that bad, will see how things go over the next week or two, no point worrying about the past I guess

Hmm sounds worse than my physical, also work at a mine. I had to lift weird weight overhead and step up onto a box over and over again, and a bunch of other junk, and evaluate all kinds of stuff, lung capacity etc. But no psych evaluation. Sounds like this chick was annoying, but what is she going to do? We get random drug tests, and I'm pretty sure steroid use isn't on them because it is a piss test and the hr guy looks at right after and gets the result. So you are going to one of those man camps in Australia? Or will you be able to live your normal life?

Yeah I had to do all that bs stepping and agility crap, one good thing she told me I had great squatting form.....

Yeah random drug testing all the time I've been tested numerous times while on both injectables and orals, even did my last medical while on lol

Yeah mate remote site living 2 weeks away 1 week at home 1600km flight from home middle of no where, hot as ****... There still girls though. Slutty ones too, yeah yeah! Been doing it since I finished my apprentaship about 5 years ago, used to get into a bit of trouble alot of alcohol, but now my life revolves around the gym so no more of that these days.

Only plan to do it for another 3 years, then I'm mortgage free then it's time to travel the globe and take bbing more seriously. It's not a bad life style but with the roster time goes so quick . It feels as if I'm pissing away the best years of my life, my 20s. But it's all so I can kick back as I push towards my 30s... Hopefully not too much of a sacrifice, will all be for fk all if I was to come to a unfortunate end tomorrow,

    U from aus?

Well she has only stated my cardio is poor, I don't think my job requires me to be an athlete you should see the state of some people there. Nah there medical only, the whole steroid thing hopefully won't get mentioned I think she was just trying to scare me with the dangers of using. Doubt she will write in the report possible steroid user hopefully. Everything else was fine so I'm sure all is good, it just sucks she's onto the whole steroid use, hopefully she just passes on the paperwork with my results and that's it, it's not as if I can't improve my cardio...... Any by Bp and rested rate was both good.

Oh man, she was trying to get you all sweaty for some fatty office sex!!! None of that stuff was a real requirement she was just hoping that you would bend her over and throw the bone!!! You missed all her signals bro, you probably would've been a shoe in for the job if you would've just shown her a little lovin'. It's not like bumpin uglies with a rotund nurse would've killed ya, I kinda feel sorry for her, all that effort and you just ignore her animal desires because your worried about your job, that's kinda selfish man. You should go back and see her tomorrow and make all this right. Good luck

you should have asked her "so, what are you doing to combat early onset of adult diabetes?? and that your normal HR during training is 174 at max effort, and since she's issuing a medial opinion on your cardiovascular condition, is she a dr??

Very well could have been. You should have looked her in the eye and asked if she would like to help you with some tips on cardio.
