    2.5yr Bulk, First Time Cut

    G'day Fellas,

Lovin this forum, so much info to absorb! Anyway, another fat Aussie guy going on my first ever cut. Basically did a 2.5yr (possibly 3yr) bulk that got a little bit out of hand LOL!

    Stats (Starting weight was 107kg/235LB):
    Age: 37
    103kg/224 (30% BF)
    Height 6"

    GOAL:
Basically want a 6pack. Hopefully I can acheive this by the end of the year. I Havn't seen my abs since my teenage years & I WANT THEM BACK!! Don't really care how much weight I loose, I just want a nice 6pack again.

You can get there... depends on how hard you wanna work... and how far you wanna go... 6 pack in 11 months borders on Easy... you could have a 6 pack in 5-6 months if you bust your ass...

For now, a 6 pack & I'll be a jolly old fellow. I have a tendency to go rain man when I really want something. Hopefully, this is one of those times

A few shots of my fav muscle groups (back, doing a dbl bicep pose), where I actually have a little muscle. This is where a lot of my focus has gone into over the years of lifting. Love HEAVY cable rows/deadlifts.

Nearly 2 weeks in, can see my top 2 abs while flexing now. When I sit at my desk there's no longer a big roll that hangs over my pants. Weight still 102kg so I'm not to sure where the fat is going, but I can tell it's definitely going.

Body is adjusting to the calorie defecit as I'm not constantly starving inbetween meals now.

Thx mate. I'll be here, until I've got a 6pack at least heh (assuming I've actually got muscles underneath the fat). I'll re-assess what direction to take when I reach my goal.

Thx man, I know it's not that far away. The bad thing is I know perfectly well that putting 3 pieces of birthday cake in my mouth is going to go straight to my midsection, yet I do it anyway FFS.

Day 27, 101kg. BF 25%?? God dam diet is the hardest. Not the workouts, I find them easy, it's the calorie watching/counting that screws me. But... I am changing my evil ways. Slowly, very.. slowly Which is why I gave myself a year to get there, I know I'm weak heheh.

Another WTF moment for me today, I'm becomming more vascular LMAO. Not very noticable in the picture, but it's there. Also got a wicked V sunburn tan yesterday, on my neck.

99KG (218LB) today. Weight fluctuating a fair bit. I may not look it, but I definitely feel slimmer & I now have to wear a belt on my work pants I'm hoping as I drop some bodyfat those annoying fatty deposits under my arms (outer pec area) will fo.

Having a fair bit of pain in my right pec while doing seated benching @ 160kg (4 x 20kg plates on each side). Right pec feels a lot weaker than my left. I'm scared to push it because it feels like something is going to snap. Might have to back off a bit or try some different angles. Flat 25kg dumbell flyers are fine, also standing cable are also fine. It's just flat bench & seated bench I'm having pain.

    Weight: 100KG (220LB)

Did a BIG cardio session last night, about 1hr. I don't do cardio at the gym, I hit the field across the road for cardio. Did about 15 laps of the oval with sprinting intervals. Love sprinting, nothing beats the wind hitting your face at full speed & everything feels like it's goign to explode. I stop every 3 laps or so for situps. I know I don't look like I can run very fast, but I can

Yes mate, gear is not for me Heck, I don't even take any supplements LOL. I do enjoy reading about ppl's experiences & this forum is pretty cool which is why I log here.

May as well post my pretty average diet while I'm here (it's fairly random). Pretty much eat this every single day year round. I really do enjoy eating, & for me, never get's booring

    Breakfast:
Small bowl Nutra Grain with skim milk (I've seriously reduced the size of the bowl, it used to be a MASSIVE bowl of nutra grain overflowing over the top of the bowl) I FRIGGIN LOVE THIS STUFF!
    Fist full of chicken

    Lunch:
Usually a chicken salad or beef salad
    Skinny cappachino

    Pre workout snack:
Fist full of chicken or ham
    Swig of skim milk

    Dinner:
Usually chicken or steak w/broccili & random veggies

    Before Bed:
Natural skim milk shake with eggs/nuts/berries/banana/ice ect.

Really got no idea on the macro breakdown, but if I had to guess I'd say around 300g protien/50g carbs/?? fats ??.

Thx mate. Yeah I know, I feel so much slimmer.

Most of the calf muscle is from kickboxing.

Still seem to be making progress however no six pack as yet. I've fallen off the wangon a few times with my diet eating copious amounts of $hit foods on more than one occation.

On the positive, training has been consistent & lifts have been increasing constantly & actually PB'd my bench 140kg x 2 (assisted on second rep). Constantly learning new things about my body, which motivates me even more. I've now been bodybuilding just over 3yrs & I feel I've only scratched the surface in terms of knowledge/understanding. So much to learn, so little time

I know what my next goal is going to be after I get a 6pack, I would like to be 220lb@10% BF. Now, I'm not to sure if that's even possible at my height, but it's something I would like to work towards before I get to old. Mabye the start of next year I'll drop some more body fat & work my way up slowly.

Stay focused. If you absolutely have to cheat on the diet, schedule cheat meals/days. Rather than " falling off the wagon" and eating a ton of junk. This way your still in control and you wont feel like garbage for eating something off diet.
