6'8" and 183lbs, looking for the best advice

As my title says, I'm really tall and really skinny. I spent my whole senior year in high school working out, eating right and shoving supplements down my throat. I got a lot stronger which I wanted, but I didn't fill out one bit. I maybe gained 2 lbs in a year. Or I could have weighed myself after eating my 4500-6000 calories in a day. I've tried to bulk up using only a good diet , intense work out and the "magic" down at GNC a few more times after high school with the same result. Now that I am 8 years older, and my metabolism is starting to slow down I want to give this another shot but add a little extra to my diet .

I am getting Sustanon 250 from a friend of mine. He has taken it at a 5 week on 5 week off regiment. I know I won't see the results that he has (19lbs in a 5 week cycle ). I'm tired of being too skinny to find a pair of jeans that fit, or getting a large shirt and it look too big on me.

A little about my normal week. I'm an electrician and a foreman, so this means I am climbing up and down ladders, pulling things, walking about 3 miles a day with all the running around that I have to do, and generally at a moderate to fast pace for 8 hours a day. I don't exercise as of now, but I do yard work a few times a week, and I get outside and throw the frisbee or football once or twice a week.

Here is what I have in mind and any advice would be great.
I plan to consume 5k to 6k calories a day. Is this enough for the amount of activity I do and going to the gym?
I'm not positive how much protein I will need, but I plan to do more research before starting my first cycle .
I will go back on whey protein , a mens sports daily vitamin, and probably a pre work out drink.
No trash food, only chicken, lean beef, tuna, pasta, greens, fruit, and trail mix

    My questions to you all:
Is Sus a good choice for a first timer?
Is there anything I am missing?
Do I need to take more/less supplements ?
Should I take something with the Sustanon that will improve or help?
    Calories/Protein Intake?

Thanks in advance, I know you guys will get me in the right direction.

not saying you are wrong, but do you know how much 5000-6000 calories of good food is? I cant imagine you not gaining on that.
Sust 5 weeks on 5 weeks off is horrible. you boy has no idea what he is doing. How steroids work or the effects your yuor natural hormonal system.
You will need an ai to use on cycle and clomid and nolva for pct after your cycle.
I would start reading the education and sticky thread in each section

Also why dont you post what you eat in a typical day
If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

Not saying your lying..but I doubt your getting 6000 calories in..you would need to eat 5-6 full calorie double whoppers with a coke and large fries and maybe a shake or two..to get that much food..Ronnie Coleman off season ate at the most 4300calories ed.

When you add everything up if will probbably come to 2500-3000 calories realistically..

The 5 on 5 off is a terrible ideas. You run sust for 8-12 weeks with an AI and pct afterwards ..

I can see how gaining weight is tough. Like gixxer said post all you food and macros here and lets do the numbers..its to son to start steroids when you don't know what you are doing and don't have a written diet down

Protien intake should be 1.5g of protien per lbs of body weight

On top of all this you don't workout besides manual labor and you don't have a soild base to build on..I have been wiring out since I was 16..now I'm 29. I have a base to build on always..I'm 195 at 5'10.. your lamost a foot taller and I still weigh more. You need to build muscle natrually first.

I know how much it is. I have a very fast metabolism. The most I have ever weighed is 192. I used to eat two foot long tuna subs from subway in high school.
Side note, when I was in marine corp boot camp, I was put on a special diet to gain weight. I pretty much just maintained weight.
My normal daily diet consists of:
around 4:30am I get up for work: I eat a banana and a peanut granola bar.
Around 6am arriving to work: I eat another banana and a nola bar of some sort
9:15 break time: fruit cup, some cheese sticks, crackers and another nola bar, i've been eating the snickers marathon bars for the past couple of days
12pm lunch: two well stuffed turkey or ham sammiches, a little puddin, crackers, fruit cup,
2:30-3:30: after lunch snack, cheese, banana or one of those pre packaged tuna and cracker deals
7ish dinner: A pretty large helping of pasta with meat or meat and rice. It varies but normally a pasta/meat or rice/meat combo
and if I dont pass out soon after dinner I end up nibbling on something also.\
While at work I drink 64 oz of powerade and 32oz or more water.

When i start my bulk diet I will be snacking on trail mix throughout the day.

im 6'3 ish. and when i went in the navy i was 205lbs not nearly as freaky looking as i am sure your lanky ass is but all i did was the following. I ATE EVERYTHING!!!! some people say that im a retard and thats fine. you need to eat whatever you can get your hands on at all times. my favorite is whoppers. start off with sust 250 at no less that 500mgs a week. you need to bust your ass in the gym and lift heavy ass weights none of this 3 sets of 10.. you need 5 sets of 5 of heavy ass shit. do 12 weeks then run your pct for a month and then back to sust 250 at 750 a week. and just keep eating and lifting heavy. i can see it now someone is about to write some dumb shit saying im wrong. but 8 years later i am 302lbs 10%bf bench almost 600 deadlift 700 and squat over 900.. the proof is in your determination and the work you will put in the gym.

no offense that diet is absolutely horrible for trying to gain weight.
So you get up at 4:30 am and have no protein til 12 noon at lunch? and your only protein is 2 sandwiches a small container of tuna and some meat at dinner?

Steroids will not help you if you keep eating like that

I won't start a cycle until I'm ready for it. I'm not intending on getting them and going ape shit. I plan on getting my body geared up for a cycle.

I used to count my calories and I was getting more towards the 4500 in high school, but with the goal of getting 6000. I drank protein shakes, and ate tuna and peanut butter.

The diet listed above is not a work out diet. I am not currently working out. That is what I normally eat.

then wouldnt that be a place to start if you want to gain weight. Eating correctly and working out. If you do neither why are you even considering steroids?

You guys have it all twisted up. I am not working out right now. I am asking these questions to prepare myself for when I am ready for a cycle. That diet is what I eat with out going to the gym. When I do start to work out I will greatly increase my calorie and protein intake.

working out is first to start with. 2. Diet. weather your eating that diet or think your adding calories and prot and carbs i promise its prob still not a good diet, going by the food you listed above and your 6000 cal diet right now. 3. nobody here will advise you to cycle because you have no diet, no workout routine, or a base "im guessing" to start with. a cycle will do nothing for you (i know cause my diet wasnt on key for my cycle this time) nor would i trust your friend on his cycle. dont follow that.

what i suggest is read through the work out section. then read through the diet section. once you get those down then you can start researching through this section starting with stickies on cycles and proper ways to do them, but just cause you read the right way doesnt make you ready either. have to have diet and a base first.

thast fine for you man, run whatever you want to but dont give advice to someone based off of your knowledge which seems limited and to someone who has not been eating right or training right. 12 weeks on 4 weeks PCT then back on on sust? Are your crazy, good way to end up HRT. This guy needs to run bloodwork b4 during and after. Hes not a seasoned bb or a powerlifter like you. back off the advice

"stop messing around and put some stuff in you ass and get to work"
that redneck for your limited intelligence. we help people here not give them ass backwards advice.
go eat whoppers as much as you can? get real man

ok ill take that as a good answer. you are correct. i just assumed if someone is going to be doing it they would already have blood work and enzyme levels checked. i will keep my assumptions to myself. thanks for showing me the way!!

Of course. I was going to get a work out routine down and get my diet fine tuned before going any further. I'll be getting back in the gym in the next few days. I am considering steroids because of my failed attempts in the past. I worked out hard, at pretty damn good and didn't get any size. I'm not looking to get HUGE. I want to fill out a little bit.

The minimum I would say start would be six months to a year so you can get your diet tuned in, your lift routine, prime and then start. And yea I would start with test prop, not sust. Get the bloodwork and prepare yourself.

diet and gym will make you fill out a little bit as long as you stick with it and dont quit when you get where you want to be. consistency is key. And when you get ready to you should know how long and what cycle to run but ^^^ razr just gave you a hint on a cycle. i personally started with test E which i liked.

Hey blaze. Your diet looks nowhere near any of the calories you're suggesting. I almost eat more than that. For 6000 calories youd be eating the equivalent of 2 chicken breasts and 200g of rice every meal 6x per day.

Get out the scales, packaging, calorie count websites along with your pen and paper and list out all the macros for each meal and then post them on here. Do this for both what you eat now and what you would do on your bodybuilding diet. Its the only way to do it. Good luck.

Hey blaze, listen and learn brother! I'm 6'3 around 195 currently, and I'm a pole! so I can feel your pain.. just as a side note, are you done growing? start all of this with a comprehensive male blood test, you can find good ones listed in several threads. are you in your mid twenties? ever had your thyroid checked? of course you realize you will need to add 1/2 a cow to that diet, roids? get the blood work, lift, eat, eat again, rest, lift. I started at 158 pounds, you can bear down and do it, lets see some progress!

This is what I am starting to force myself to eat.
    www fatsecret com/export/15806936/4C35C/15456/day/food/FoodDiary_120426_foods.pdf
I have chicken breasts, and plenty of tuna to change up dinner. I'll be making tons of pasta on Sunday's and probably cooking my meat so that all I have to do is heat it up when it's time to cram. I know it isn't the cleanest diet but with my high metabo I figured the fat's would be that big of an issue. Correct me if I'm wrong. A friend of mine that is a nutritionist will be helping me in the next few days to clean it up some and give me some variety in meals.

    My eating times are
    4:30am
    6:00am
    9:00am
    12:00pm
    2:30pm
    5:00pm
    7:00pm

I picked up a Mens Sports Daily vitamin from GNC yesterday and plan to return next week for gold card week to pick up some more Whey and Protein and a few boxes of protein bars.
The plan is to work out EOD for around 45-60mins from what I've learned from reading about hard gainers. I will be starting today and I can't wait.

I have in my possession Sostenon 300. I'm getting the ringe's tonight or tomorrow. With this being my first cycle (starting in a couple weeks) what do I need for a good PCT? Any extra info on the cycle would be great. I want to know as much as I can before I start.
    Thanks guys
