Hey, just wanted to introduce myself to you guys here!
I'm a 25 year old guy from AZ. I've been in the gym since I was in middle school, but the majority of my time has been a mission to lose weight. Starting at 5'7 245 lbs when I was a kid(I know, wtf right?!) I got myself down to 5'8 165 lbs back when I was a senior in high school. Once I went to college though I ballooned back up to 190 and haven't been able to drop weight again since then - despite the fact that I've completed BeachBody's Insanity program twice and P90x once, and eat exclusively recipes from the Abs Diet cookbook. I'm at wits end at this point and figured I'd come and see what help this community could lend. My goal weight is 170, but my ideal weight is 160 with a cut torso. In addition to the beachbody programs, I've trained(but not competed) in MMA for about three years and before then religiously ran 5-6 miles a day(and still like to go running). I don't lift much, I tend to be more partial to cardio/calisthenic/plyometric workouts. Anyway, I'm also a bartender and work with an up and coming supplement company named Vemma that specializes in a multivitamin/mineral drink, but is moving into the energy and athletic supplement industries.
