    CherryDrPepper's Music Thread

A thread to talk about music new and old. Links to youtube are encouraged.

First topic. What do you think the best club songs are.
This is in my opinion THE best club song out right now:

    LMFAO - Shots
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNtTEibFvlQ&feature=av2e

    or

    Taio Cruz - Dynamite
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUjdiDeJ0xg&feature=av2e

Please keep any negative comments to a minimum. I listen to everything from industrial to country to rap r&b rock metal literally everything.

I've got a question about Nine Inch Nails

Somebody told me in 1989 when Pretty Hate Machine came out it blew up so quick that you could actually go into a club and hear songs off it. I'm just wondering if this is bs or if Trent got that big that fast. Then from what I understood his music career was on the backburner until closer broke and he was pretty much solidified as a musical presence

I was still a little young to be going to clubs back then, but I remember NIN being huge then like right away. My friends and I got in to the whole Amiga module sequencing thing because of that album.

This song has been stuck in my head all day:

Al DiMeola is not just a technical guitar god, his concern is the sound of the music rather than just trying to fit all sorts of tricks in. He can work with just about anybody as this song shows.

And here is one of my favourite Opeth tunes:
