    steroids for obese people

    Hi guys,
im new to this forum, and i wish you can help me.
im 27 years old, 6.1 tall around 185 cm, and i weigh 130 KG which is around 285 pounds.
and a body fat of 34%

i started 20 days ago dieting and training twice a day, cardio and very little weight lifting. i lost around 13 lbs so far.(i used to be 298 lbs)

a friend of mine advised me to take some steroids that will help me lose weight really faster and in a bigger amount. he said he can advise me on what to take as hes been on steroids for more than 6 years now and he is experienced.

note: ive never been on steroids before and been lazy for the last 4 years of my life, just gaining weight more and more. im getting married soon and i really want to lose the fat i have and be in shape.

is it a good idea to use steroids, and if yes how small the dosages should be ?

Doesn't sound like you have much knowledge on what is going on or anything about AAS.

If you crack down on your diet and training you weight will fall off with ease, I can tell just by you mentioning you have lost 13lbs already. Why would you not continue with what you are doing?

You are more vulnerable to estro sides if you cycle with that high of BF% and not worth the health risk IMO. If you can't lose weight or get in shape normally then you shouldn't even think about AAS. There not a magic pill and they're not going to make you shredded with the snap of a finger. I see a lot of people that come on here thinking they can take a shortcut to seeing gains, this isn't for lazy people.

A great place to start would be the nutrition section.

I would just keep train and doing cardio, you can add some green tea caps to the diet. I would cut the cals a bit.

traditionally, steroids are used for gaining weight and strength, not losing weight.

the things you'll need to do to lose weight is...eat less, ... run more.

for pro bbers with very low bf%, they take steroids while dieting to get to even lower bf% without losing muscle mass. they lose fat also through dieting and cardio. taking steroid is only to protect/maintain their lean muscle mass.

but if your bf% is rather high, there is no danger of that happening. your body will not burn muscle if there's still lots of fats to burn.

The heaver you are(bf) the more dangerous in my opinion, you are putting incredible strains and demands on your organs x2 when u are obese. Its not a good idea at all.

In a nutshell AAS works by increasing protein synthesis therefore increasing muscle mass. For this to happen you must increase food intake which means increasing calories. Not exactly what you need to do to lose a lot of weight.
On top of this your connective tissue (tendons and ligaments) are not strong enough due to lack of use to hold up to the additional strength from the AAS.
You'd be much further ahead to read the diet and training sections of this forum and prefect your workouts and how you eat. You've already lost a bunch of weight naturally. Don't take a chance on a severe injury with a shortcut.

Short and simple. Eat less calories and train hard to burn off more then your body uses. I have guys at work who's now 240 down from 32ish. The best product you can get on is time. It's not alway cheap but you should have plenty of it left in your life to drop weight, start a base, tune your diet, begging heavy lifts, then look into aas.

For now read and learn. Focus on food intake and cardio.

    Good luck
