I'm thinking about running a 500 mgs of test a week cylce for 12 weeks as a first cycle. What kinda results can I look for ? I realize everyone's different. What are the typical strength and size gains over that span and are they keepable ?

what are your stat?
btw your a little too young to start on the AAS, if i was you (btw im the same age as you or there abouts i just turned 24, probably looking at least another year before i start my 1st cycle), i would hit the nutrition section and work on your diet, make some natural gains over the next couple years, do alot of research (AI's,HCG,PCT,test,etc..), and then when your ready you can start your cycle, which by then you shouldn't need to ask these ^^ questions. ok?
my first cycle i gained a permanent 30 lbs, from 230 to 260. my incline bench went from 225x12 to 315x12. pretty legit gains in size and bigtime strength. that cycle was test c 500/wk 12 weeks.

I'm 5'10 230 15% BF. You're probably right and I more than likely wont do it for at least a year. Mostly for financial reasons. But I DEFINTELY got some learning to do. I've learned a lot over the past two days actually haha. Yesterday I was asking about A-50 and reduced it to just test today and now probably won't run anything for awhile. Thanks for the advice.

So you kept most of that? Size and strength ? Strength is more important to me. I've heard that your first cycle you gain the most. Is that so in your specific case? I mean wow...30 pounds? And all that strength. Did you lose anything ? Strength wise. That means you went up about 125 lbs in your bench in a 12 week span. Well according to my rep max calculator.

30 pounds, lol. . . . I got that beat.
I started @ 185 and now I'm 230Lbs. Too bad almost half of what I have gained is fat, I went from 15%Bf to 24%Bf, not the best way to go.
But, on the positive note I am almost done with PCT & I have not lost any weight or strength.
Now I'm just waiting until I can start losing this damn fat.
