B12 Injections - intramuscular or subcutaneous?

Maybe this belongs in the nutrition/supliment section but it is an injection so I'm posting here.

Everything I read online says to shoot it IM, in to the quad muscle. But have read quit a few people here saying you can just use slin pin and inject sub.

Im starting tomorrow after my blood panel.

    How should I inject it?

Shouldn't matter. But IM should absorb faster with less irritation (1/2" slin pins are IM unless you're a fat ****).

But don't forget that injectable b12 is water based so if your going to mix it, make sure there both water based so you don't get an abcess. But as for me 1cc IM shot administered by Mrs.misery13 into my traps.

    Ah, what a pervasive myth...
Can you even begin to explain how injecting oil and water would cause an abscess?

I do this every day. Never had an issue. Im interested to know how, though.

For sure. I'm going to create 2 threads and log my B12 injection experience as well as my Melanotan 2 injections.

x2 - my b-12 injection choice depends on volume primarily

if small and using the blood brain barrier crossing version of active b12, subcutaneous is fine - otherwise bulky larger amounts I hit the muscle for b12 & complex

I used it IM and sub q, also with my oil base gear with no problems. used 1 ml twice a week. Didn't feel anything and would not be spending money on it no more

There's no reason in the world why you can't mix oil and water based substances. I've done it for years.

My understanding was that because of the separation, it can impede the oil absorption. And of course that was why I was explained an abcess could form. I have simply aired on the side of caution since. If I am wrong, please and thank you, educate me. I am never to old or stubborn to learn.

What dosage are you going to use?

    I use 50 ug/ week, I.M.

    Is this too little?

The water absorbs almost instantly, and the oil works as normal. No issue.

Mind you though, I am referring to HG water-based solutions (HCG, B-12, peptides).

Hormone suspensions have a few more factors to consider, since they can:
    a) be dirty as hell (which would cause an abscess on its own)
    b) crash like crazy in the muscle (which can cause a sterile abscess on its own as well)
    c) contain PS-80, a surfactant, which allows water and oil to mix to some degree. This could affect the rate at which the oil and water would absorb and potentially increase the risk of abscess, both sterile and septic.

But so long as both are clean and you don't keep hitting the same area, combining the two should make no difference.

Can I pin B12 and Melanotan2 in the same syringe?
