    pre, and post workout help

I need some help with this critical part in the day. I work 12 hr shifts an hour away from my home although my gym is right next to my job.

I have experimented with several different snack/meals before and after the gym.
I had been eating a cliff builders bar before the gym and then 2 scoops of optimum 100% whey and 2 scoops cytogainer after.
After some research i have recently changed to 2 scoops cytogainer and an apple before with the same 2 scoops whey and 2 scoops cytogainer after.

I am getting ready to do first cycle of test C and Equipoise as soon as i get my A-dex.
Problem is i am getting hungry now before my workout is over. I am in the gym no longer than an hr this includes 15min interval cardio and 40 min of weights with a 10 min ab circuit at the end of workout.

Im assuming getting hungry before workout over is bad. So how about some help with the pre workout.
What are all of you eating?

8oz Chicken breast,7-8oz sweet potato,veggies- does the job for me. I never knew anything about Pre and Post wo nutrtion till I hit this site, now my body has totally changed due to it.

Post workout I do- 2 scoops whey isolate, 1 cup oats. 1hr to 1.5hr after that shake I do 10oz white meat protein, and veggies.

protein/carb pre workout (pref meat and oats, sweet potato, brn rice, etc..)

protein/carb post workout (protein shake or better IMO meat, oats, sweet potato, brn rice, etc..)

i dont use those drinks preworkout drinks and all that. IMO chikn breast or lean ground beef + good complex carb cannot be beaten (esp by a powder!)

currently im doing IF and dont eat anything pre workout and notice no difference in performance. as a matter of fact i lift in hr 15 of my fast...

IMO that stuff is designed to take ur money

Forgot to mention my worst problem.....I get up at 330 am to drive 45 min to gym before having to be at work at 630.
I agree there is so substitute for real food, but it's just not possible. Have tried to workout after work but I'm a nurse in critical care so I am emotionaly and physically drained when I get off 12 hrs later.

So with that information any ideas?

    1. why would u think its bad to get hungry?
    2. i dont understand exactly what ur asking? fix ur food the nite before and take with u in tupperware. i do this every day. i dont heat any of my meals up. i do my cardio at 0430 every morning and then go to work and lift on my lunch hour.
    3. good breakfast = 1 whole egg, 5 eggwhites, 1cup oats
good pwo = 8oz chikn breast, 1/2cup brn rice, 300g broccoli

if u dont want ur eggs from the nite before swap it with a protein shake and oats preworkout. mix it up the nite before and drink on ur drive to the gym. seems very simple prob to fix man

Read up in the recipe section about foods you can premake - clean, high protein bars, etc. They may not be ideal (for me, preworkout eggs/oats/cottage cheese is the way to go), but better than a fvckin cliff bar!

Usually 1/2 cup (1% milkfat no salt added)... along with 1/2 cup egg whites, 1/2 scoop WPI, 1 whole egg, 1/2 cup oats and 1/2 cup blueberries.
