I am having a hard time getting carbs in. Is there anything wrong with getting mostly protein before workout and then loading up on carbs pwo as long as I hit my macros? I do a 16/8 IF. Any advice at all is appreciated.

It won't really make much difference...
I would look to get some carbs in pre workout tho, just to keep glucose circulating, glycogen 'topped up' and even raid insulin slightly....
Think of nutrition over a 24 hour period.... Carb timing is not that important within that 24 hour window... Total carbs/ macro nutrients are what count the most
Unless you are below 10% Bodyfat and looking to get leaner... That's where nutrient timing may be more influencal on fat oxidation
