I recently ran an 8 week dbol cycle. I am currently on my 4th week of PCT. (I'm on day 23)
My cycle:
20mg Methandrostenolone (5mg at breakfast, 5mg at lunch, 10mg at dinner)
30mg Tamoxifen (20mg at breakfast, 10mg at lunch)
My PCT:
Days 1-10: Clomifeme 50mg (at night)
Days 1-15: Tamoxifen 30mg (20mg at breakfast, 10mg at lunch)
Days 16-23: Tamoxifen 20mg
The tamoxifen was to prevent water retention/gyno. I gained 21lbs on my cycle and I have not lost any of it. As of yesterday I actually weigh 2lbs more than I did when I finished my cycle 23 days ago.
These results are honestly way better than I expected. I attribute it largely to my diet.
My training consists of a 5 day split, both on and off cycle.
Monday: Rest
Tuesday: Legs, Shoulders, [and Biceps if time allows]
Wednesday: Cardio & Abs
Thursday: Rest
Friday: Back & Biceps
Saturday: Chest & Triceps
Sunday: Abs & Shoulders
My daily diet looks like this:
1.5g protein per pound of bodyweight (minimum - on good days I eat over 2g protein per pound of bodyweight). 1/4 of this comes from solid food, 1/4 comes from dairy products, and 2/4 comes from protein powders. I drink casein protein before bed every night and whey protein when I wake up.
at least 3 servings of fruit (I strive for 5+)
2 servings of vegetables
I avoid all foods high in saturated fats. I avoid pretty much anything that looks greasy or is fried.
I try to avoid junk food
3000-4000 calories per day
In addition I take the following supplements:
- multivitamin
- milk thistle extract
- Liv 52
- CoenzymeQ10
Anyway, now that I have provided some background, here is my question:
I plan to start another dbol cycle in roughly 2 weeks. I will be running my next cycle for 6 weeks at 20mg/day. I will also be taking 30mg tamoxifen daily during my cycle to combat water retention and gyno.
For now, Should I continue to take tamoxifen 20mg daily until my next cycle? or should I finish taking the tamoxifen and give my body 2 weeks off? Are there any recognized negative effects from long term tamoxifen use (1-2 years) in males? I have researched this extensively but the majority of the studies I have found are in women with cancer.
All information/opinions are welcomed.
Thank you!
