Dr. Crisler selling OTC DHEA and PREG TD now at 100mg/mL!!!!

For some of you guys looking to add/supplement DHEA and Preg to your protocol, Dr. Crisler is now selling both in a coadministered transdermal cream at 100mg/mL which is about as high a dosage as I've ever seen.

As some of you know, I am a big proponent for back filling our androgen pathways for so many reasons.

Pills have largely been ineffective for both, however, many Docs have gotten good results with micronized formulations of both with can be bought OTC as well.

Transdermal seems to have the best rate of absorption and it was only available OTC in small doses like 15mg/mL so what Crisler is offering is a first as far as I know.

Maybe its a better deal if you crunch the numbers... but DHEA cream for $100? C'mon... he's making me feel like the patient paying off his Doctor's boat!

hmmm if 50mg works then its like 50 bucks a month. I was about to buy some DHEA and preg pills. I dunno what to do but it just seems like a ton of money, more money than my testosterone and hcg combined almost. Right now the most I spend is on peptides, but using a different ratio to save some money but should still be effective.

So non micronized doesn't work at all? Micronized can work? But these transdermals can work but require possible 100 mg doses? what about oral 100 mg of micronized? I dunno but this is tempting, it's just on the steep side of things.

Its suprising a lttle to me but it seems like there is more than one person on this forum wo have been using micronizd DHEA with as good or better success than transdermal DHEA.

I plan to add some DHEA once I settle down on my AI problems. But the stuff is super inexpensive... numerous optinos too. And it makes sense because DHEA has been being produced in mass for 2 decades or more now in the USA. LEF has fought hard to keep this stuff OTC.

Micronized pills have a better absorption and uptake rate than standard pill formulations.

One needs to think about the digestive process and first pass effect to understand that only 5% to 7% of any standard pill formulation will make it successfully into the blood stream.

Micronized pills have a better chance at higher serum levels simply because the formulation can be absorbed into the blood stream at a faster rate.

I think, depending upon the man, transdermals can be hit or miss as well depending upon how well a man can absorb the formulation through the skin and into the bloodstream...some do well and others don't.

All of LEF's DHEA pills are micronized and it's pretty cheap to boot as noted by HRT.

Luckily, I can get a similar dosage amount of the same compounds at my clinic for about 20% less.

Good on his part though that he's offering it, and I'm sure it's going to be a real $$ maker for him!

So true... DHEA is dirt cheap, and to make a transdermal carrier... you can't act like this costs a ton of money. It's just basic chemicals that are also dirt cheap. Just seems like they could offer the product at such a lower price but don't for reasons you can use your imagination...

I belive the difference in Crisler's product is that it's regulated and of pharmaceutical grade...big difference with non-regulated OTC supplements and there are costs associated with that if one is concerned.

Lef makes a good product but you can easily find micronized DHEA for half the price. I have used other manufacturer's products with excellent results.

This is a great post.I wasted alot of time taking worthless dhea till you educated me before on this Gdev. Thanks again for all your contributions to this forum and for all the things I have personally learned from you.

Yes, micronized is the way to go. My Doc is a well known TRT Practitioner and he has witnessed himself elevated DHEA-S levels using micronized DHEA versus standard pill formulations. I have heard Dr. Crisler claim the exact same thing as well.

MRM is the brand. I buy 25mg / 90 count. It is about half the price of LEF. You save about $5 a bottle...not a huge savings but I am generally buying other items at the same time.
